There is some nice older stuff but this isn't it, really. Tragedy aside there's this tawdry quality to it... I can like a slightly grungier quality to it, a fave pic of mine is Insex I think with the model worn out and sweaty and hair a disaster from the hood she's been wearing. Anyone already though of making it's own vacuum bed? I am planning of making a small one (hand size) to validate proto. I will make a thread on /diy/ but I was thinking maybe someone already experienced it here.

Stories? OK, here's one. There's this bunch of pervs, go by the name of KinkEngineering. One thing they've done a lot of is vacbed development and construction, they're probably among the people who know the most about this stuff.

Now, at one point one of them, think it was actually the most technically savvy guy, tried a vacbed out alone. Unless you've put in a _lot_ of hours working with this stuff and other stuff that can be repurposed, this guy knew a _lot_ more about it than you.

Copper will fuck up your latex (discolouration) so ideally not that, stainless steel best bet for metal. PVC pipe should be good enough though, might be a bit bendy unless you get some thick pipe.

As for pump attachment, use a vacuum cleaner hose and just tape it onto a purpose made outlet in the vac bed sheeting.

Also, video it so when you die using it solo we can all watch.

Sooo, let's see.
Use PVC pipes. They're perfect and easy to work with. Try to get them at a 4-5cm diameter.
Then you drill the small holes. I used 5mm holes every 10cm, worked pretty well.

I recommend to get 6 pipes, each about 1m long. Connect two for the long sides and have one for top and bottom. (I wouldn't like to post a picture as this would probably be too off topic).
Use three 90 deg angle pieces for three corners and one T-formed piece. This is, where you can attach the hose from your vacuum cleaner. In europe, most hoses fit into the standard pipes which is great!

For testing you can use a plastic bag instead of rubber sheeting. See if you can get these large sacks used for storing matrasses. They are perfect and can help you for testing (even very 'playable'), before you buy or glue your expensive latex sheeting.
