really small foamy beer edition
hello carabros, hope you're all well!
FAQ
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality http://imgur.com/a/2qH90
>What the fuck is wrong with her eyebrows?
Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.

aaah, me too! i mean f1, not copenhagen. can't wait to see bottas back in a championship-winning car. also rather excited about some of these new liveries, and in general just see how the usual midfielders/backmarkers do with the new regulations.
>what about you?
mostly nothing, except for friday, which was just incredibly kind to me. woke up to a beautiful sunshiny day and an e-mail informing me that i've been invited to a compatibility screening for an apprenticeship at my #1 choice, which is the federal institute for science, research and economy. that's early april, so i'm just counting down the days now. very excited and glad i got at least SOMETHING for once.

>And you my lad ?
pretty uneventful, but all that did happen was actually pretty good stuff for a change!
>tfw birthday tomorrow
>tfw nothing to celebrate
i know the feeling, i wish i didn't keep getting older so quickly. time is flying by like it's nothing, there's barely even anything to celebrate like that. one year closer to death, is all it feels like these days. i'll be 23 in april as well.
still though, i want to wish you a happy birthday, hope things are looking up for you tomorrow <3
>>17374844
>great to hear. i know you've been trying for a while now so ~postive vibes~
yes! thanks for the posi vibes, i'm definitely feeling it. it's amazing how just a small sign like this can completely motivate me to do all kinds of different things.

It's not too bad. Work is busy, weekend was alright but been kinda bad on my diet and need to get back on the wagon. My dad is driving me a bit mad (wants me to get outside more and do this and that, despite that I just came back from an hour walk) but that's typical. How about you?
>>17374849
Good luck for that apprenticeship desu
>what happened
Well the interview I had on monday didn't went very well on Monday, then I fucked up some exam and I learned that I can't pass again the exams I failed on the first semester (which would have allowed me to gain some points and be able to compensate more the 2nd semester.)
It's not so bad, but fuck it.
>tfw the interviewer tells you that you don't look "lively" (dynamic).
Fuck you, I can't be calm at an interview ?
>>17374850

>>17374854
>It's not too bad. Work is busy, weekend was alright but been kinda bad on my diet and need to get back on the wagon.
ah, i know the feeling. i'm back on the calorie cut, but being lazy with the actual diet plan so it's kinda all over the place.
>My dad is driving me a bit mad (wants me to get outside more and do this and that, despite that I just came back from an hour walk) but that's typical.
hm, why's that? seems like you're quite busy with work, and otherwise spending your time fairly decently anyway.
>How about you?
like i said, i've been doing pretty good. the occasional misstep here and there, but overall i've been pleased. at least i don't feel like i'm in such a slump anymore.
also, i've been doing this WoW thing since yesterday:

shit, that sucks dude, sorry to hear that. no use crying over spilt milk, i guess you'll just have to kick some ass on all the upcoming stuff. i believe in u
>Fuck you, I can't be calm at an interview ?
we actually had some classes on this with a top recruiter for some high-end tech firms. from what he told us, trivial things like that basically just mean that he didn't really want you to begin with. obviously they look for some basic stuff like positive body language, good eye contact etc, but if they start nitpicking then it was a bit of a losing battle from the start.
>>17374863
>m back on the calorie cut, but being lazy with the actual diet plan so it's kinda all over the place.
I try to just track the calories throughout the day, but with eating out at lunch it can be really tough
>hm, why's that? seems like you're quite busy with work, and otherwise spending your time fairly decently anyway.
Because when I do get home I like to funpost or fiddle with music at the computer I guess. I think mostly he just needs someone to do stuff with and when I don't want to he frames it as I'm doing something bad for myself.
>at least i don't feel like i'm in such a slump anymore.
Well that's great to hear!
>>17374871
>good eye contact
Ah. He was looking away because I never break it. (no homo)
Nah he's kind of right, I look as he said "cool" and too relaxed. This remark surprised me and I didn't know what to answer. I will see.

>>17374872
>I try to just track the calories throughout the day, but with eating out at lunch it can be really tough
aah, i see what you mean. yeah, restaurant food tends to be a pretty big tossup, even ordering salads at some places, they'll just be covered in oil etc. and of course you can't know how many calories that is exactly, you can only make a bit of an educated guess.
>I think mostly he just needs someone to do stuff with and when I don't want to he frames it as I'm doing something bad for myself.
ah, i see. i obviously don't know your dad, but it doesn't seem so unreasonable of him. do you usually do a lot of stuff together?
>>17374875
>He was looking away because I never break it. (no homo)
do you make it a point to have intense eye contact? too much of a good thing is still too much!
>>17374881
>do you make it a point to have intense eye contact?
Just that before I couldn't have eye contact (still can't with qt grills ;_;). So now I just don't break it, well sometimes I do because I see they do it too.
>too much of a good thing is still too much!
Yeap.. That's why I break it sometimes but I still look too much, and not naturally.
>>17374806
weeeeeeeeeew
>>17374881
>do you usually do a lot of stuff together?
Yeah. I live there so every weekend doing stuff. It's exhausting. Even when we're both at home he wants to talk about something if we're apart for 2-3 hours. Maybe normies want constant attention, but I just want to have a Sunday where I don't have to go to lunch with him or help him in his room because his speakers aren't working or whatever.

>Just that before I couldn't have eye contact (still can't with qt grills ;_;). So now I just don't break it, well sometimes I do because I see they do it too.
i used to be like this as well, a few years back i just tried maybe doing some things on the side, like with my hands, to make it more natural, but i think that sort of stuff just takes some time. don't give up m8
>>17374888
ive thought about this as well, since my mother visits me every week, she just has so much to talk about that hours go by just like that. i can only imagine what it would be like still living with her, it seems quite exhausting. have you told this to your dad before? might be some mutual understanding from it..

>>17374894
>have you told this to your dad before? might be some mutual understanding from it..
Basically, yes. But he doesn't get it from a conceptual level. I don't think he is able to get inside the head of an introvert and understand that they need quiet to recover - and what that quiet is. He thinks relaxing is doing things and has a hard time just sitting around. It is implausible to him that someone would just want to chill quietly in their room screwing with music for five hours straight and that there must be something bad about that. His intentions are probably partially selfish (wanting company for himself).

>>17374899
sounds like a fundamental disagreement, that's a bit rough. i agree that he probably also wants company for himself, but i'm sure he only wants good for you too. hope he can see things a little bit more through your eyes soon without feeling disappointed in some silly way.
>>17374906
>wanting to lose a bet
why would you do this you KNOW it'll happen
>>17374909
50euro on him not being on the podium all year from me. better pony up for this game of chance ;)
>>17374913
realistically you should offer him some decent odds.
if he wants to bet for real, Skybet currently offer 9:1 on Hulk getting a podium this year. i don't think it's likely that he will, but 9:1 is good enough that i might put a small bet on
>>17374906

>sounds like a fundamental disagreement, that's a bit rough. i agree that he probably also wants company for himself, but i'm sure he only wants good for you too. hope he can see things a little bit more through your eyes soon without feeling disappointed in some silly way.
Yeah. It's an interesting issue because it's not like he doesn't want what is good for me, but, he's a tough guy for an introvert to live around.
>>17374924
he said he doesn't wanna bet at all :(

>>17374951
i am indeed. my expectation is that mercedes will win the championship again, but with fewer overall wins. red bull 2nd, ferrari 3rd.
hamilton champion, with at least double the number of race wins that bottas gets.
>>17374960

Gonna make a raclette T B H
>>17374974

>>17374969
i know he's good, it's not going to be like a vettel-webber situation where webber got totally dominated. but i think it will still take time for him to match hamilton.
in 2014, rosberg only got 4 wins vs 11 for hamilton, and i expect we'll see a similar thing here.
i could be totally wrong though, it's not like i am making a fortune from winning bets. at the end of 2016 i was only £80 up overall
>>17374974

hamilton was definitely hyping up bottas, so maybe it will be a bit closer, unless he just did that to fuck with nico...
>>17374985

drivers do this all the team with their teammates, doesn't really mean much.
anyway, no need for speculation when we will have a much clearer picture this time next week (assuming bottas doesn't crash out immediately).
>>17374995
i agree, i can't wait for it to begin. i'm sure bottas will have a fine start to the season.

Set two alarms if you need to. Can even have another alarm across the room. My m8 in college had that problem and used to setup one across his bedroom he'd have to get out of bed to turn off.
Fixing sleep is mostly behavior modification. Which can be very hard, but, is for sure in your control.
