well unless cara is willing to have it dyed natural brown again (or some other colour), the photographers would have to work with the bleach blonde, which in many cases would probably conflict with the image they are trying to create (especially since the dye job is not even very well done in my opinion).

i'm just guessing, hopefully i'm wrong.

My boss keeps firing people, and just keeps depending more and more on me and two other people. Some people leave too, but, overall they leave before he fires them. He just has too high of expectations of people and there aren't enough systems in place to help people know what to do and accomplish what they need. There isn't enough organization. He's also very demotivating, never happy with anyone.

Well, he was always hard on people, even when business was good. I'd say business is soft right now which makes things worse.

Right now it seems like he wants a lower payroll in general, but the truth is for what he wants to accomplish we need more people. So, it's that do more with less mentality which I do understand but end of the day that only works to a point. I mean, I can only do so much.

Also he expects some of the lower level people than me to do a lot of work making very little money, then gets surprised when it doesn't work out.

Sometimes I miss being a NEET.

this sounds a lot like my old boss.

my (unsolicited) advice would be this: try to evaluate whether it's actually a viable business model that he is proposing. if you need more staff, but he can't afford to pay that many staff, then the business model is not legitimate. in this case, the money will eventually run out and you should start looking for another job now.

if he can afford to pay, and you are crucial to the operation, then it might be time to put your foot down, and demand fewer working hours or higher pay (but do not offer the choice to him - pick which one you want first, then request it from him). if he's just trying to boost personal profits for himself, then it will be worth it for him to meet your demands.

This week was rough because I did just that. He wanted me to take on a second project while my first one of the year was still going and I told him I couldn't take that extra work on and get the first one done properly. He wasn't happy but I think he knows myself and the other engineer there are already maxed out, he just doesn't know what to do to get more people.

In order to stay competitive, we really need to get another product development cycle going but, yeah, it's a tough place to work, he doesn't want to spend the money when we find people, and he beats on people so hard they often leave or get fired.

It's just very stressful and I wish working this hard things were going good.

Have you been subscribed at all during the new expansion? YMMV but I find WoW has a lot of stuff that's fun to do once or twice and there's a _lot_ of new stuff in Legion.

Cutting some carbs can work - as an example when I want to lose weight I eat as I always do but I cut up to half of the pasta/potatoes/rice/whatever. If that leaves you feeling too empty, either suck it up or eat some extra salad or cabbage or such.
