FAQ
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality http://imgur.com/a/2qH90

Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.

>>17273566
doesn't help that the website is being slow, i'm still loading it LOL
>>17273593
it's a (mostly) bare Lotus (T128) Le Mans Prototype that was previously used to promote Praga's Endurance race series, it was in that mall as an exhibition vehicle, along with a lot of other stuff, like kvyat and ricciardo's red bull. i might make an imgur album, or find it if i already made one
>>17273614
I can't imagine these things shattering in a crash. Carbon really fails violently.
>>17273631
they're incredibly rigid, F1 safety has come such a long way, but that matte paint finish really makes it look like a toy. always preferred lotus anyway. Raikkonen/Grosjean
>>17273642
Carbon is very stiff and light, but in failure it's pretty violent. When we used to tensile test dog bone specimen back in college, the carbon fragments would fire into the ceiling sometimes. We always had a safety plexi to stand behind and eye protection on.
>>17273652
yeah, i've seen some footage of carbon under torque testing and it's pretty violent. it's unbelievable how much these cars can actually take though, the nose doesn't even bend in head-on collisions at considerable speed.
seems like a "tough to break, but when it breaks, it really wants you dead" type of deal.
>>17273668
Yeah, that's pretty much how it goes haha. I think parts of F1 cars are made of aramid (Kevlar) fabrics but I've never really looked into it. Those have a lot milder failure properties.
>>17273712
only the best for those F1 missiles, i'm sure. speaking of which, i wonder what's gonna happen to F1 now that bernie ecclestone left and the americans are in charge...
>>17273721
I don't follow F1 that closely, but a guy at work who is really into it told me that over the last half decade or so F1 has really lost some popularity.
>>17273728
Well the TV audience has dropped a lot because of a move to subscription channels which not everyone has access to. But I'm sure the number of people streaming online has gone way up in that time.
>>17273735
Yeah. I'd love to go to another race. It's actually better to watch on TV in terms of knowing what's going on, but I love seeing everything around it - not to mention all the beautiful people.
>>17273728
he's right, and it has quite a bit to do with things such as engine regulations, track rules, et cetera.
some of the "problems" are pretty much safety problems, for example in the last season, there was a race that had such heavy rain that half of the laps were basically done behind a safety car, or spent waiting in the pitlane for the rain to get better. example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAsY93pN0kI
this isn't THAT much rain, certainly not as much as that race weekend recently, but you can still see how incredibly slippery it is.
not to mention that because of circumstances like this, F1 lost one of their most talented drivers in 2014, Jules Bianchi.
either way, i've been out of F1 for a long while before the 2016 season, but according to my dad who feels the same way as your coworker, it's been a mix of bad decisions up until now that has driven down viewership, as well as what >>17273735 said.
>>17273740
i might go to Austrian GP this year, i'll let you know if i do.
>>17273741
Is there something gaining popularity that is taking viewers?
>>17273742
Cool! That would be a lot of fun.
>>17273748
>Is there something gaining popularity that is taking viewers?
i couldn't say for certain, but i heard MotoGP is gaining in popularity a little bit, possibly DTM as well.
"Moving" one viewerbase to a different motorsport is always a tricky thing to say, there's some loyalty involved so i don't think there has really been major exodus away from F1 and into other things necessarily, just away from F1 in general.
>>17273748
>Is there something gaining popularity that is taking viewers?
WEC has gained a lot of popularity but in terms of scheduling there's not much overlap, so I'm not sure it could really take viewers from F1
>>17273762
yeah, WEC too. i need to get into that, so much race car going on these days
Welp, turned the heat on first time this winter. Kinda cold here today.
I think the fasting is making me cold too.
>>17273779
it has been a really cold one this year, it's uncharacteristic of the city to get this cold.
usually i don't have to use my heating at all but i've found that it's just very good to have some nights, especially when i come out of the shower.
we had a pretty bad cold front this winter too, down to about -15°C at times (inside a major metropolitan area, mind you. a few hours south near bratislava you got somewhere around -25°C).
regardless, i like the cold. maybe not extreme cold, but as long as i can smell that winter air and we get lots of snow then i'm happy. i am just about ready for spring now though.
>>17273788
few hours east*
my apologies
>>17273788
Wow that is so cold! March it usually starts to warm up there, right?
>>17273794
yeah, right around that time. i should mention that those types of temperatures were because of a major cold front rolling in, not the climate in general.
the same cold front that caused lappland to cool down to -45°C, and some parts of siberia to be colder than antarctica as a whole with -50°C in yakutia.
it usually never gets that cold here anymore
>>17273795

i've been exploring that avenue ever since i got contact lenses, they're pretty much a lifesaver in summer. good for winter too so you don't have to deal with glasses fogging up. ive found that a good pair of aviators works with everything!

>>17273879
Yeah it's tough when you are losing because don't want to spend too much money on something that will only fit for a short while.
I'm losing a bit more but hopefully everything keeps fitting. Problem in America is they don't sell many jeans below at 28" waist so I can't get too thin or else my options narrow greatly.
You doing IF today?
>>17273896
>Yeah it's tough when you are losing because don't want to spend too much money on something that will only fit for a short while.
exactly. takes the fun out of actually going shopping too because you're playing this weird guessing game of "will this fit me when X" et cetera.
>Problem in America is they don't sell many jeans below at 28" waist so I can't get too thin or else my options narrow greatly.
huh, i had no idea about that. i guess you rarely hear of problems like that when half the western world is full with people just getting fatter each year.
>You doing IF today?
yep, have been back on it since wednesday, when i felt better again. eating times have been late just because my schedule is kinda ruined right now, no 24hrs tomorrow because my mother is coming over and she always insists on cooking something for me, but from then on it's back to 24hrs. that'll be around 4pm each day.
pedro pedro fat fat
>>17273908
Nice. Great thing with IF is can work around your own schedule. Mom comes can have a bigger window, no one around can do 24 hour. I've been starting to eat higher fat now. Ate 3oz of cheese yesterday. It's not much but seems like a whole lot when all my life I was told fat was so bad.

>I've been starting to eat higher fat now. Ate 3oz of cheese yesterday. It's not much but seems like a whole lot when all my life I was told fat was so bad.

>>17273953
fuck, why was that in my cara folder
been getting lazy with saving new images
>>17273944
>>17273953
The reason for the LC/HF and IF is mostly because fat fills you up more and doesn't cause a rise in insulin. Carbs on the other hand don't fill you up very well in comparison, and spike insulin.
I'm trying to up my fat and see how it goes. Also avoiding sugar.
>>17273957
>fuck, why was that in my cara folder
not sure but i still approve, kstew is nice
>>17273964

Yeah, I for sure know what you mean. It was looking really bad to me last time we spoke though, when I'd just watched that combat episode. I saw the eco-car one and it picked up. Hammond in that garden car was pretty funny. But yeah the scripting is more forced and I think they are spending too much money.

Haha nice

It'll for sure throw people through a loop. The IF throws them too because when I have dinner people don't know I haven't eaten anything. When ever I go out to dinner I do a 24 hour fast now so I can eat like everyone else at dinner.

What happened?
>>17274243
>In September 2015, the film was pulled from the Toronto International Film Festival, after Matthew Cullen filed a lawsuit against the films producers, for fraud, failing to pay him, and taking away final cut.[11][12][13] The producers responded to the lawsuit stating : “The timing and the content of the director’s lawsuit shows that it is a publicity stunt.
>In November 2016, a second lawsuit was filed by the producers suing Amber Heard for $10 million.[18][19] The lawsuit claims Heard and Cullen made unauthorized changes to the film's script and failed to finish voice-over work.[20]
a fine mess, it was meant to be released 2 years ago now
