Kate Beckinsale says she wears latex in Underworld and the latest trailers for Underworld 6 looks like it: https://youtu.be/-Y74du0Ex_g
Let's hope this is a good movie.
>>17105981
Kate has never worn latex in her Underworld films, and by the look of the trailer she will not do this in this one either
>>17105981
KB said it was latex because she didn't know what she's talking about.
>>17106130
Latex has a very distinct smell, how could she be mistaken?
>Q: Is it leather or pleather?
>BECKINSALE: It's latex. It's like a condom with sleeves (she laughs).
If not latex, what is it then? PVC would probably be too inelastic for the gymnastics in the movies.
>>17106185
My guess is some sort of coated spandex. Vinyl/PVC would leave cracks and marks on the gloss. The more dull surface of these coated suits has more stretch and will not become dull that easily. Downside is that is is not as shiny as high gloss PVC, but it has lots more stretch

The irony being that the photographer is her partner, essentially made her career along with his, but recently has started not giving a fuck about focusing his shots or holding the camera steady. >The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot -- it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better."

>There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey.
True. When you look at in terms of the Chinese, yes. If you mention European and US Sellers, then you are mistaken. Europeans designers sell at reasonable rates, mostly due to the actual tailoring, and less the material. The US however is a rip off, and a simple highway robbery for the same product and quality that European designers offer, only for that "Made in Amurica" feeling. I would know.
As for the S-M Factory metal collar seen in all these Latexperiment sets, it's nice, but if someone with adequate or proficient welding, and fabrication skills takes a crack at it, I'm pretty sure they can make their own for a fraction of the price, if not much less. Chinese is sure trash, but if you have skills like implied in Ruskin's quote here:
>There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey.
Then, he or she can make money there too. Or keep it for themselves. But we have designers there for the less skilled hands after all. No one is a jack of all trades and a master of each. If you claim to be, you're a hilarious, lying sack of shit. Clear as day.
Thanks swaying my decision to turn away from LC at last minute and buy UK again. Was unsure still after all. Got a great suit. Also read into more bad reviews after the good ones on FL. So glad I dodged a possible bullet. Sticking to Europe now. So thanks.

Dubs confirm. I'll guess that sooner or later the americans will learn. They can do good stuff. Doc Johnson's sex toys has been around since 1976 for a reason.
And in the last years I've bought some latex over the counter at Eve Collection in Stockholm and I've ordered a quite expensive piece from LackLust de. Despite having a low salary and expensive riding lessons to pay. But it's sure worth it. Some quotes:
“I don’t do coupons or Reeboks. Life is too short to half-step.”
― Eddie Huang, Fresh Off the Boat: A Memoir
And in S03E01, Jessica wraps it up by saying that she's proud that they built their life together, they earned everything. Because in Taiwan, success comes from taking shortcuts and getting family favors.
So even if your only latex is a pair of panties from LateXa, they are yours. You paid for them. You earned them. They becomes you. Because they are not part of the gommie bootlegging, wastepeddling faildustrial complex. Be proud, Anon. Be proud!

I have been chomping at the bit for the GitS film since it was announced in 2010. I know there has been a lot of negative reaction at Scar Jo (my Kosher Crush) being the Major, but I am still pumped. My point: ------->
Your head: O
I mentioned Eve Collection in Stockholm, yes? It's quite easy to find them on these intertubes, yes. Most of the latex they stock are Skin Two and Honor. So let's check them out, shall we?
One of the most, if not the most expensive latex is the Maria Cutout Catsuit (HR-R1859) for 2640 SEK. But there's plenty of other cheaper stuff.
Empirical data always beats lofty idealism. Always. So please stop saying that the comfy shop Eve Collection is "expensive". Or any other shit you pull out of your ass. Mind you that "Ataraxia" ruined Rubberist net because his lofty idea about a catsuit for 100 bucks made him shit the bed and invite the failnese peddlers of elastic industrial waste.
But the writing was already on the wall. They have these threads over at "IAR" on that cheap suit for the masses. Totally fucking belittling! Because the cheapest catsuits (for women) at Eve Collection are the HR-R1011 and HR-R1696 for 1950 SEK. But if you manage to save 500 SEK a month for four monts, it's yours! Yeah, some retard may say that the material isn't that expensive. But that only
>implies
that your time spent trying to assemble it properly isn't worth anything.
>>17110468
>>17109427
>most on here couldn't give a flying fuck about what you have to say.
Yeah, and if I want to get stronk, like to move heavy objects around, I eat a can of thunder honey, because it makes me stronk. The reason that I get stronk from thunder honey is because I say so. And the reason that you should believe that I get stronk from thunder honey is also because I say so. That's why.
Or, you could see what this anon said, Mr Count-the-hits-disregard the-misses: >>17108900
Then there's the discussion about people living on the dole and why it's a social injustice that they can't buy as much latex in a year as someone well-off who has been collecting it for a decade. True, true, you could say that's it's an injustice that's best helped by patronizing Crapfloat. But on the other hand, you could say that having low expectations will only keep you on the dole.
But what you can't do is disregarding Ruskin about the pitfalls of paying too little for something of inferior quality.
And a friendly advice: Trip codes are supposed to be used once per thread if it's important to single out yourself. E.g. being OP. But this is not the case here. You are simply self-promoting.
>>17109996
>Jewtube
Fuck you, cunt! This isn't /pol/!
>>17110426
It's quite simple. Disregarding Ruskin's law isn't the same as invalidate it.
But our dear "pope" thinks that disregarding leads to invalidation. He thinks that saying that a store is expensive makes it expensive.
>self aggrandization
>not being able to process new facts
>only considers one quality and disregard all the others
Nope, haven't heard about that before...
And this is not just a matter of copyright. Nothing happens in China without the approval of the gommunist party. So one gommie company having several front companies to sell bootlegged latex is ok in their books, as long as it brings in money.
So these arrangement with front companies makes the concept of trademarks and brands meaningless. If Doc Johnson makes a dildo that causes chemical burns and they don't care about serious damage control and solving it amicable by compensating the victims it will be the last pennywise thing they did. Because they can't just move the production to another front. Doc Johnson stands and falls with Doc Johnson.
But the gommies? Some poor allergic bastard dies because of chemical burns from Dickflop? Oh, they will dissolve the front and set up a new shop.
So do you get this Ryan, you fucking smug piece "of don't know how good you have it and why it's good so you're hellbent on ruining it unintentionally"? If there's a case of someone getting *any* kind of chemical burns because they bought latex from Shitturd, it's their blood on your hands. Partly because of your shilling. (How much do they pay you, btw?) And if that happens, I suggest that you go hang yourself. And don't bother putting on a pair of latex leggings so that you don't soil the carpet with a dynamic exit turd. You're so cheap it's a God's fucking miracle that they doesn't burst of your erection during regular use.

Shall I tell you on how I baited RedAreo into banning himself from 4chan by (re)posting a quite known NN teen model that posed in latex? (No, not Sandra or any of the "Sweets" if anyone wonders.)
Shall I follow up that telling that the very same model did our "pope" have as a background image on several torrents on a pretty famous porn tracker? (In his defense, the image was unrelated to the content. But on the other hand, it jus smacks of more -> MOAR -> hoarder.)
Shall I also tell you that I kinda warned him here, but that he in his usual fashion disregarded it? (Re: His disregard of Ruskin and the issue of hazardous chinese products.)
Pity that he wasn't banned after I reported him.
So, who's the superior chess player here?

>Yeah, and if I want to get stronk, like to move heavy objects around, I eat a can of thunder honey, because it makes me stronk. The reason that I get stronk from thunder honey is because I say so. And the reason that you should believe that I get stronk from thunder honey is also because I say so. That's why.
So no, you're not good at all. I first bested RedAreo with a clever maneuver. Now I'm besting "pope" with attrition. (No one has yet been able to say that I'm wrong. Only that I'm a meanie.)
And regarding even cheaper latex, there's in Stockholm Love Store, former Golden Rose Video. They sell stuff from LatexA. So you can get a pair of panties for 169 SEK. Not the same quality as panties from Honor, Skin Two, Marquis, Libidex, Kunzmann, Sealwear etc. But on the other hand, LatexA doesn't pretend to be something they are not. They has found their niche and keep to it.
But the very thought that some couple may buy a little latex to have every now and then is probably beyond the contempt of "pope" and Failtaraxia. Because both are simply small men. Things that are small reminds them of how small they are. Hence the hoarding. Hence the silly International Association of Rubberists. A pile of stinking latex-like refuse and something that sounds like some trade union, yet can't still protect people from the gommie waste-peddlers.
>>17110477
>Or, you could see what this anon said, Mr Count-the-hits-disregard the-misses
By saying that no one but a designer can make something worthy of mass production is a fallacy in and of itself. How else do designers get to be where they are? By making something and selling it of course. To say that average Joe cannot fix his car because he is not a school taught mechanic, or that without certification in his field he is not as good as his fellow neighbor who has those certifications and years of schooling. To say that everyone is like Joe is a mistake, but to say no one is like his neighbor is ignorant.
If you thought I disagreed with your man Ruskin, I did not, but there are exceptions where the rule is not absolute, as I have stated in the past. But you are swimming agaisnt the current on an anonymous message board trying to... hell, I haven't a clue, but regardless, it isn't going to change much. As for why you attack me, the person for thanking you for the help you DID provide, and help steer one away from a bad decision, I can just see smugness written all over you. Not even a sincere attempt to help, but simply argue for the hell of it and to find a way of feeling special on an anonymous messaging board.

>“I don’t do coupons or Reeboks. Life is too short to half-step.”

Sorry, but I'm going to use coupons, because poorfag. Don't have a superiority complex that's says I'm getting better chicken nuggets at McDonalds or better Capmbells Soup at the grocery store because I use a coupon. Same product, but lesser of a price. I see your point with latex, and can say yes, it goes the same way with regular clothing. You get what you pay for. Lesser price is going to be lesser quality. A rule of thumb you might say. There has been exceptions to that rule, but far and few in between.
>They can do good stuff. Doc Johnson's sex toys has been around since 1976 for a reason.
Sorry to say, but they are rubbish. Have bought more than enough from the company to know that it is complete garbage. Just like Shillfish, Gummi, and all the others you spew on about. Cheap Chinese garbage itself. Only quality shit I have ever gotten thus far is from the UK.

I can only say that they deliver good quality outfits for the price they ask. I have no reason to pay 2 or 3 times a much to compensate quality, Catfish is truly worth trying. I did, and without any bad experiences at all.

And Doc Johnson is NOT rubbish. It's been around for 40 years. It's only if you can hide behind the gommie party that you can sell bootlegged shit via mail order. But a lot of sex toys is sold in stores. So if it stinks like a chemical plant set on fire with white phosphorous, it won't sell.
>>17111691
I suggest that you only regard the price as the most important for a year. All your clothes, food etc must be the cheapest. Shitty food, shitty clothes, shitty haircuts.
>>17112464
Not PF either.
>>17111736
And just like the gommies you are master of parroting, but can't understand anything on a deeper level. Mine is not the easy road. It IS self-denial to save for something, even if it just takes a few months. But you're like an unbearable conservative or socialist who can disregard everything with muh obscenity or muh exploitation. Yours is the simple road. You have not realized that you did wrong and are sorry for that. But sorry that someone calls you out on your bullshit, bullshit artist:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P4tpJocrcI
So it's quite simple. I don't care if you think that you're a pretty big deal in the UK. I don't care if you attend major events twice a month or only every 18th month. But regarding your shilling for Slopshit, it's a black and white world. And that makes your USI and inability to understand new facts even worse. In your case 1+1 is not 2, but 1+1=10.
And your attitude is simply unsolidaric towards those who hardly can afford anything but save and save until they can buy legit stuff. You're just a simpleton with more money than sense. If you didn't had supported Gommieshit, but in stead bought legit stuff, you would like have three cubic feet latex instead of five.
And isn't it funny that the pics from Eve Collection, you know the "expensive" latex, looks better than it from Toxicfart? Could be that the models aren't ashamed of themselves. So for the better part of the humanity that prefers to pay a little extra for latex hoods that doesn't make you look like retarded ice cream (spreads AIDS 75% more effective), Bootlegfæces is simply out of the question.
>>17112202
>I can only say that they deliver good quality outfits for the price they ask. I have no reason to pay 2 or 3 times a much to compensate quality, Catfish is truly worth trying.
Not only pay shit, get shit. But pay shit to bootlegging gommies. No wonder that Trump won the election.
And
>implying
that they have stopped bootlegging and compensated their victims.
And this dress sells for 860 SEK at Eve Collection. Or ca $95 or €88 or £78. How fucking "poor" must you be to think that it's "expensive"? No, this isn't a poverty of the wallet on your part, but a poverty of the mind.
>>17113769
>Not PF either.
P.S. Isn't it funny that "pope" doesn't say anything to his defense in this case? He's pretty good at bending over backwards when saying that Ruskin's observation and the hazards of supporting bootleggers doesn't apply to him. (As I've said before, disregarding something doesn't invalidate it.)
But in this case he doesn't even try to defend himself. A really speaking silence...
>>17113794
So apparently I have to defend myself against everything you say now, obsessed much?
>>17113781
It ain't shit. I have bought from them, suits that is. The mask are (indeed) not very well made, but I am sure they will get there. Would not buy them yet for sure. But the catsuit are great. I'd rather go for three different suits from Latex Catfish then just one from a European shop. And I am sure those three will a) last longer and b) have me enjoy the variety in color and/or cut.
By your continuous referral to Eve Collection I must assume you are from Sweden and work at Eve's. Good for you! But I do not change my opinion because you have had bad experiences (if at all) with Latex Catfish, my suits are fantastic and I will buy from them as long as I am satisfied with my orders.

When I say I use coupons, I'm referring mostly to food, on occasion for other things should I have it. I hunt for a coupon on a quick google search once maybe every 5 blue moons, or don't even bother to out of sheer laziness. Haven't the time for it. I use what comes in the sunday paper. As for sales. I'll wait if necessary, but if I can't I don't bother. I'm not one of those coupon hunters on TV that get their shit next to free because they waste their life on that shit.

>Is there no limit to the reflectivity these days?
It's not really any shinier than it was 15 years ago, it's just improved photography, and actually trying to capture the shine more. Mainly, just aim for a wide depth of field so the foreground and background are both in focus, and keep dynamic range low enough that the latex is the darkest part and the reflection is the brightest, with appropriate settings to make the image bright but with low noise.
>>17114750
Your pic is Alexandra Corneille, probably for lateXperiment.
>>17115716
Interesting. I would like to know how to accomplish this. Any photographers here? I do understand not to use flash, and having bright light. But a high F-stop is not very common for this,, but I can see the urge when having such depth in the reflections. Metering on the black? I do not think so because all else will be washed out. Reflective Desires seems to have their settings right, their gloss is awesome. There are not a lot of images with EXIF data, but from the ones I saw they use F4 and Multi-metering. And a lightbox mostly.

>It ain't shit. I have bought from them, suits that is. The mask are (indeed) not very well made, but I am sure they will get there. Would not buy them yet for sure.
They won't. There's relatively little money to be made from latex compared to other areas. But even in those area chinese shit stays chinese shit.
>But the catsuit are great. I'd rather go for three different suits from Latex Catfish then just one from a European shop. And I am sure those three will a) last longer and b) have me enjoy the variety in color and/or cut.
And Mickey Mouse has three ears.
>By your continuous referral to Eve Collection I must assume you are from Sweden and work at Eve's. Good for you!
Not at all. EC sells latex that is a cut above LateXas stuff but not Marquis/Libidex-grade.

Eve Collection is "just" a store in Stockholm. Most of the stuff they sell are from Honor or Skin Two. The stuff I've got are from these companies. Totally content with the quality. And waiting for an order from LackLust. Life is good for the non-hoarders...

>>17119263
Fatale wears Catfish, as does their entire group. Catfish probably makes more money than the next 3 combined, purely because of efficient manufacturing.

I swear to god every thread ends up with some debate of why or why not LC sucks...Latex is like cars, some people want the quality and craftsmanship of a BMW and others want a cheap ass 01 Ford Focus that just functions as a car. Neither is intrinsically more right than the other, just different cars for different consumer needs and price points
>>17119569
Well put. I am on the Catfish side BTW.
>>17119263
You spoke to (max) a dozen of ppl at a party, and none has gotten Catfish latex. Well, that is some mighty research you've done. You got me convinced now. I guess the thousands of outfits Catfish made were bought by the other 2 fetishist that were not at that party
>>17119746
>>17119569
>>17119287
I'm not debating whether or not Latex Catfish sucks. I've been following these threads for photos but this one and the past few seem to turn into heated debates about Latex Catfish. I asked a question to understand the situation (despite having no preference for or against Latex Catfish), and the answers you are giving me are more hostile than informative.
I have most of my outfits from Regulation and Libidex, simply because they are less than an hour's journey from me, I can try on the product in the store, the measurement and sizing are reliable, the quality is good, and they have massive sales CONSTANTLY. Said products are cheap, convenient, reliable, and good quality. I think those are good standards by which to shop for latex.
I am, however, open-minded and always in the market for budget alternatives that meet my standard of quality. Perhaps Latex Catfish is an option? idk I only hear about them on this board, where they are either accepted as the most amazing product on Earth, or complete and utter trash (depending whom is posting) with very few opinions falling in the midrange.
I'd be willing to listen to an argument as to why I should look into getting some LC products, as I am genuinely curious at this point. So I'll give you my attention as follows.....
>>17119802
(Continued)
I'm open-minded and looking to understand why people are passionate about their products (online only, it seems, since nobody mentions LC to me in person). So I'm wanting to hear a user review on this board, in this thread stating their experience and the positives for investing into Latex Catfish products. This will be an interesting game of salesmanship 101
Starting at this point forward, post a few photos of latex fetish models I am familiar with wearing LC products. Tell me why said products are good. Include a story or user review of an article of LC clothing you own and have worn for years and how it has held up. Perhaps explain why nobody I have met IRL wears Latex Catfish, or why most of them don't even know what it is (because if it's supposedly so amazing, I'm curious to know why the majority of people I have met into latex don't even know about it). Here is the most important part: do so WITHOUT being rude, snobby or elitist, or talking down to me. It's difficult to be interested in a product when all of the people who like it are obnoxious assholes.
I eagerly await your responses.
>>17119802
>>17119812
Alright, let's give this a shot, though I am probably putting myself into the line of fire.
I bought from Catfish two years ago. A catsuit and a kind of jogging pants for lounging around the house.
It took a while until it arrived, of course, but not much different from when I last ordered at Libidex during a sale. Customer service was also very friendly, if not speaking perfect English (though decent enough).
Quality is good. Not quite as good as my things from Libidex, but it has no real flaws either. Doesn't fall apart at the seams and, contrary to some public opinion in here, you don't get instant skin cancer the moment you put it on.
Downsides were the rather pricey customs I had to pay and that the catsuit is slightly too small. Like, if the measurements were just 1cm more, it would fit like a glove. This way it still fits, but is rather tight. (I guess it was more of an Asian M rather than European M).
Hope this helps.

>>17116210
I'm no pro, but basically a good camera and focus are the basics, with good lightning rig being absolutely paramount for the results. Of course, copious amounts of shine, non-chlorinated latex in solid strong colors are also required. Since latex diffuses (comparably) very little light and instead reflects it, you can never have too much light, therefore these shots are mostly taken in studios. I'm pretty sure you could contact reflectivedesire on FL directly, or through his site to get a more detailed answer.
>>17119906
I think I'll order from them at some point, since nobody else has the kind of selection along with chlorination, so even if I wait forever and get screwed by the customs I'm still curious, but for more short term buys, like parties, EU simply has too much of an advantage in reliability. Last time I was looking for a catsuit, there was close to zero of price advantage for LC, much longer wait and obvious issues with returning goods, so I ended up giving my money to Poland.
>>17119812
I have experiences with Simon O, Honour, Blackbody,Cathouse Clothing, Skintight and Karin Wit (long, long time ago). From all these the suits from Simon O were of the highest quality in both cut and latex itself. They also lasted longer.
I have tried Latex Catfish first about three years ago. I ordered a neck entry suit in Large, which seemed to be a good choice since all my previous suits were. Then I noticed that without any zipper, catsuits are way more comfortable so my next order was a Medium. Fit was great, although the length of the torso was too long for me. I then went from Small to even XS and still the suits are easy to get in and out. The damage some suits have got are all my own fault. Not enough lube, sweat or just too much hurry with (un)dressing. I managed to repair most of these myself, or changed them into leggings or shirts.
The customs are indeed a shame. DHL is superfast, with approx. 3 days from China to my home. When buying just one item, there will be no costs. If you have a package with multiple item, customs will charge you a certain %. But I guess it will be different for each country.
Lastly, I tried m2m once with them, but it did not work out that well. They do take lots of time for you if you would like something custom or certain alterations. The better you describe these, the better the result.
I would recommend to start with just one catsuit, any catsuit. From about EUR80 you will have a 0.4mm suit. Not so very much to lose IMO
>>17119974
I think the post-processing is the key here. When looking at the histogram of Reflective Desires' images, the part between the highlights and shadows is even while the line itself is U-shaped.
The camera is set to Manual, F-stop from F1.2 to F4 and the ISO range goes to 8000 in some images. Most photographers will not go that far, and keep that to ISO 50 - 200. Noise is dirty, so they think. Or a good photo must have the lowest ISO settings possible. Anyway, Reflective Desires do a very good job with their Canon D6 (last shoot D5 Mark IV).
>>17120014
It's 6D and 5D :/
>>17119996
hmmm very interesting. I mean for 80 Euro that is a pretty good deal even if it isn't perfect. A catsuit for that price (especially a neck-entry one) is a steal.
>>17119906

>>17120367

Unmatched simply because they do it out of passion. No income, no funding. There is something special about people doing stuff for the love of it and it really shines through. Maybe not technically the best, but they definitely nail the bit you can't define.
