bloody cold edition.
hello! sunday night is /cara/ night. tonight is our millionth thread!...
...not really. i made that up.
FAQ
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality http://imgur.com/a/2qH90
>What the fuck is wrong with her eyebrows?
Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.
>How do I pronounce her name?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOCO51-ApLE
>Can I post other waifus on /cara/?
The waifus that are /cara/-approved are: Kaya Scodelario, Mirukawa, Kristen Stewart and Barbara Palvin. We always encourage Caraposting instead of other-approved-waifu-posting.
just got up from a nap, lawdy i am tired
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5kmM98iklo
hello carabros! hope you're all well.
>tonight is our millionth thread!
maybe 19,000 years from now, carabros will actually celebrate this. but probably not
serious question: i heard rumours of 4chan possibly shutting down or being sold again?
what are we going to do if 4chan closes or changes beyond recognition? do we have a backup location? or would that just be the end of /cara/?
>>17029123
good evening! just you and me here right now.
i'm well, how about yourself?
>maybe 19,000 years from now, carabros will actually celebrate this. but probably not
you gotta believe!
unless 4chan is gonna die, which it might soon. no idea what we'll do then.
>>17029129
>>17029132
great minds think alike
>do we have a backup location? or would that just be the end of /cara/?
we most likely can have a backup location since there's about a million imageboards like this, but i have no idea what that'll do to /cara/ and i'm not sure if it would make much sense to go on from there, as gloomy as it sounds.
not that i'd want it to, i love /cara/ and the people who post here, but everything must die sometime. i'd much rather have it die a dignified death than slowly fade away on wherever else we could be.
>>17029132
>how about yourself?
first weekend off work for several months. kinda comfy but also kinda anxious, i feel like i should be doing something productive.
>>17029132
>you gotta believe!
to be honest i would be disappointed if the internet and humanity itself still existed in a similar form after that much time. we really should be reaching an asimov-style collective virtual consciousness by then.
>>17029137
i have to (sadly) agree. for now at least, i can't think of anywhere that we could continue and keep the same vibe that we enjoy here.
>>17029139
>kinda comfy but also kinda anxious, i feel like i should be doing something productive.
know exactly what you mean. i'm getting pretty antsy about my work situation, i just sent out a whole metric ton of applications before i was invited out to lunch by my sister to celebrate her birthday.
drank a whole lot of wine, ate way too much meat, came home and napped. today was a good day.
>we really should be reaching an asimov-style collective virtual consciousness by then.
>mfw cara delevingne universally accepted as most attractive human as /cara/ pierces collective consciousness
>everyone is carabro
it's still pretty early for most carabros i think, i am going to make dinner and watch some old top gear for an hour or so and hopefully the thread will pick up a bit later
oh, and i got up real early to watch some UFC and japanese grand prix. good lord suzuka is a fantastic track
>>17029141
maybe 420 chan or something like that. i used to go there for a little while even though i don't do drugs like that, just for /wooo/
>>17029148
okay, see you soon. enjoy!
>just sent out a whole metric ton of applications
wew, good luck with that. do you know if there's a lot of competition for the jobs you chose?
>>17029149
i also got up early to watch the race but i was so tired i barely remember any of it. won a few bets though.
>>17029163
>do you know if there's a lot of competition for the jobs you chose?
it's a fairly competitive field, yeah.
i'm just trying to dodge working in 1st level support but if i must then i must
>i also got up early to watch the race but i was so tired i barely remember any of it. won a few bets though.
i mostly remember hamilton fucking up and then getting very pouty and throwing a bit of a fit over verstappen moving on him under braking to defend his 2nd place podium. that's good enough for me.
also a fantastic track like i said, shame it's so narrow or there would be hilarious amounts of overtaking and real racing
>>17029172
>verstappen moving on him under braking to defend his 2nd place podium
i remember now. verstappen does this basically every race so it was kind of expected. i agree about suzuka, sadly i have never played a racing game which includes it, i should try to find one really. must be awesome to drive it.
>>17029175
>verstappen does this basically every race so it was kind of expected.
and i usually slam him for it, but anything that frustrates hamilton is okay in my book
>i agree about suzuka, sadly i have never played a racing game which includes it, i should try to find one really. must be awesome to drive it.
Assetto Corsa! it's not officially in, but the game has a massive mod database so i grabbed it and did some laps around it in the 2015 ferrari. those S curves are genuinely difficult to keep your ideal line around.
if you have a wheel and like racing games, i recommend assetto corsa either way though.
Wagebro here just dropped in for a quick greeting to you all.
Please don't let CARA die, if we have to move to infinitych that's fine.
Don't let this amazing thing be forgotten.
As always lots of love for you wienbro
>>17029199
hello!
>Please don't let CARA die, if we have to move to infinitych that's fine.
i'm not sure. the thing is, if and when 4chan dies, it's not like millions of people are suddenly free from some kind of curse that made them addicted to posting on vietnamese basketweaving imageboards. they're just gonna move to the next best thing.
if there seems to be a general consensus on where most people will go, i think there is no major harm in us following since our experience won't be too much different. just the thought that it'll be only a few of us that are moving, that the threads won't really get any reception and that the threads die off slowly scares me. the most dignified thing would be that /cara/ ends when 4chan ends, but i'm not sure if it even has to end, is what i'm saying.
>Don't let this amazing thing be forgotten.
i never will. that alone is pretty incredible to me, that i'll probably remember this until i'm old. thank you all again for making that happen. (enough of this now, don't wanna sound like a doomsayer)
>As always lots of love for you wienbro
i love you too, wagebro. i hope you had a great weekend and have a fantastic week.
>bored
>play LoL again
>start losing
>get mad
>realize it's Carathread's time
The pain went away
CARA
>>17029242
hey! how are you?
>playing lol
ah. fascinating to me how that's still as big as it is. i remember when those guys were so desperate for recognition that they poured money into companies just to host tournaments for them.
like, the only reason ESL didn't go bankrupt and die was because riot pretty much bought it up. not to talk shit, i just went back to playing dota instead.
what else have you been up to?
Hey /cara/bros!
How is everyones week starting off?
Tonight have a dinner with my dad and his friend, seems like it is going to be a drag.
>>17029253
>what else have you been up to?
Literally nothing. ;_;
Yesterday i was at my sister's house but I didn't do anything interesting except a billard.
Still didn't advanced on the work i have.
Just fuck my shit up senpai. Why did my friend had to make me play some fucking ranked.
And you Carafriend ?
>>17029255
greetings friend
>How is everyones week starting off?
hopefully better than this week. half of it pretty much went to shit right away because i had to recover from a pretty bad sleeping schedule the previous week, other than that it's just been mostly boring.
will find out when i wake up tomorrow morning i suppose!
>Tonight have a dinner with my dad and his friend, seems like it is going to be a drag.
sounds like it could be fun. a drink or two might help
>>17029260
>Still didn't advanced on the work i have.
how come? and i hope you're high rated by now if that's what you're up to instead :^)
>And you Carafriend ?
pretty standard fare. applying to places, doing some cardio, trying to pick up a thing or two on the side and playing vidya games. i got Battlerite so i've been pretty passionate about that since i played its predecessor many years ago with some of my old german friends
>>17029255
jesus christ she is really really ridiculously good-looking.
>dinner with my dad and his friend
seems kind of strange that your dad would bring you when hanging out with his friends.
i also find events like that unbearably dull, and it's at the point now where i don't give a shit any more and i'm perfectly happy to sit there in silence regardless of how uncomfortable they feel. good luck i guess?
>>17029274
>i also find events like that unbearably dull, and it's at the point now where i don't give a shit any more and i'm perfectly happy to sit there in silence regardless of how uncomfortable they feel.
i got the same feeling when my sister and her husband of 2 months started arguing this afternoon for what seemed like hours, i pretty much just ended up drinking up my (basically) stepdads wine and hoped for the best
>>17029272
Sorry your sleeping schedule went off, that is surprisingly difficult. Yeah, I'll likely have a beer or so. 40 minute drive each way though so one beer is it, the whole thing is a bit of a drag.
>>17029274
Yes, she is!
Yeah, not sure how it worked out this way. The friend knew me when I was little type of thing, but I don't even remember him. I'm also very comfortable sitting pretty silently, especially if the conversation is boring.
One of the problems with eating with my dad is that he goes into the same stories over and over again. So every conversation I know exactly how it is going to be, so unless the other person brings something to the table it's just painfully boring.
>>17029298
Next weekend I meet my sisters boyfriend. He's coming in for the weekend. Can't say I'm excited about that either. I have to feign some kind of interest in someone to be kind to my sister.
>>17029272
>how come?
I'm a lazy piece of shit and I haven't a lot to do, but it's boring.
I just started another game, end my life.
The highlight of my week-end was a girl asking me out in a fucking dream.
probably about 20% white women look like this to me. after a certain threshold, they all look like angels
all you really need to do is move to europe.. just get away from the girls who constantly rebel against what females are known to do. shaving, dressing nice, having some decency, etc
really though aint nobody who looks as good as cara gonna have anything near monogamous, its impossible. couples face too many trials especially if one or more of those people were grown on television
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqlVPaZYOzQ
wonder if i've posted these guys here before, really really good german band
>>17029306
>I'll likely have a beer or so. 40 minute drive each way though so one beer is it, the whole thing is a bit of a drag.
that really is lame, damn. good luck.
>Next weekend I meet my sisters boyfriend. He's coming in for the weekend. Can't say I'm excited about that either.
eh, who knows. i've known my sister's husband for a while since they started dating way back, i warmed up to that guy as well. mite b cool
>>17029312
>I'm a lazy piece of shit and I haven't a lot to do, but it's boring.
know those feels. over the years i've come to realize that "having time" isn't really as much about having free time as it is about wanting to spend that time in a certain way. i'm a fantastic procrastinator
>The highlight of my week-end was a girl asking me out in a fucking dream.
wew lad, i'm sorry. maybe you should try and push yourself to do something new if it really starts to hurt
>>17029318
>all you really need to do is move to europe
you wouldn't have known this but almost all /cara/bros are european.
but you are right. lots of attractive women here.
>>17029318
>all you really need to do is move to europe..
i think most of us here are european and we can say that it won't heal what ails you, or ails society as a whole.
not to sound defeatist of course, there are plenty of very level-headed girls everywhere. finding them is the hard part, since connecting with people irl got more difficult in my opinion. it's even kinda hard to find friends these days outside of school or work
>really though aint nobody who looks as good as cara gonna have anything near monogamous, its impossible.
eh, maybe. people will continue to change on you no matter what, and while i don't think cheating is excusable in any way, i also think that being in a long-term committed relationship is about not necessarily growing together but having reasons to love each other regardless. maybe i'm naive.
>>17029339
Love that photo
>>17029348
i need her collection of sunglasses desu
>>17029329
>i think most of us here are european and we can say that it won't heal what ails you, or ails society as a whole.

I was really talking exclusively about the looks of american women vs european women.
women here in large cities just look trodden down a lot of the time. a lot of young women here in NYC are into that "feminist" mindset and they dont do anything that is associated with feminine duties and roles.
the hottest blonde women here are usually fake blondes who dont even know what style they're copying. they all pretty much look like brunettes who are trying out yellow hair.
one glimpse into the netherlands changed everything for me. it's a bit like going into the rich touristy parts of manhattan.
its almost like the mentality here is making women dress worse. women here expect a standard of conversation.. they just cut off the conversation right away if you don't know how to talk to women. really the opposite of my experience with european women. I remember when i was in college and had literally no idea what i was doing.. beautiful european women would talk back to me without attitude. its really one of the biggest things about america vs europe. granted there are always exceptions but its quite a huge difference.
you see women here in nyc all mature looking and jaded even though they are probably around just 18 years old they look like goddamn 30-40 year old cougars. not to mention the violent temperments
>>17029353
Yeah, I love sunglasses. I always say I'm going to buy more, but, never do. I have a few ray bans but those aren't particularly interesting. She always has fun and different ones.
I've said this before a few times, but, I'd love for Cara to give me fashion advise and help me shop.
>>17029358
>a lot of young women here in NYC are into that "feminist" mindset and they dont do anything that is associated with feminine duties and roles.
ah, i understand what you mean. that's more of a global thing these days but no doubt that in an area like NYC it's a bit more "concentrated" for lack of a better word.
it seems like most of my generation has a massive chip on their shoulder, constantly complains about social or race issues that aren't really there, practically races each other to the status of "more oppressed than you".
i wonder how it all happened so seemingly sudden... can't just be media narrative, right?
>its almost like the mentality here is making women dress worse.
yeah, i can see that. their supposed status just breeds entitlement, it becomes less about human interaction and more about "what can you provide for me to make you worth my time". pretty gross way to treat people, and since i moved from the austrian countryside to vienna i've been noticing these sort of big city mindsets more and more. still have some pretty fantastic women though.
>>17029368
i love them too, but i wear contacts so they can be a pain in the ass sometimes
>>17029393
Why do the contacts cause problems with sunglasses?
>>17029404
Beautiful.
>>17029399
mostly just wearing them when i'd rather not.
winter is the worst for that though since i pretty much need them to stop the glasses from just fogging up when i'm outside, AND i don't get to look cool because i don't have sunglasses on
Well I gotta run /cara/bros. I wish you all a great week! I love you!
>>17029381
You could just call it the natural degeneration of society.
Yes, everyone's becoming young for their age.
>>17029416
Have a great week Carabro
>>17029416
goodnight carabro
>>17029416
alright, see you next week bro. love ya
>>17029419
>You could just call it the natural degeneration of society.
i suppose so, but that makes it sound like it was more of a slow and steady process, when things like the feminism problem haven't really existed until a few years ago. someone's got to be peddling the bullshit.
one of her best looks imo
long way to go until the image limit...
>>17029459
yessir. we don't have to hit the image limit of course, i think the content of the thread matters more than the images being posted and it's been a pretty good night.
also, the king of image dumping is absent tonight i believe
>>17029472
holy shit this is an amazing portrait. i might have to print this.
>>17029479
very true. i've been thinking of something like this since my walls are so bare, but have yet to find the perfect image to stretch it out to good size, and the best place to do it for me
>>17029484
>stretch it out to good size
this is the main problem. i just checked that portrait and at 300ppi it would only be 10 x 12cm... really not good
>>17029485
this one's amazing too. if i ever find this in ridiculously good resolution i'll definitely do something with it
heh, look what i just found while browsing my folder
>>17029495
>>17029495
wow, that's pretty old by now. i think i have it sitting somewhere as well. lovely that you saved it though <3
>>17029498
them glasses
>>17029489
best quality i can find ;_;
>>17029499
>that's pretty old by now
yeah it's too small for /s/ (hence the whitespace), so it's definitely from when we were still on /r9k/
Wat is this?

i'm probably gonna get up early tomorrow as well, i have a bunch of stuff to do, so i'll finish the image limit and then head to bed.
