it's sunday again, i have no idea how this happened but i am certainly not complaining. how was your week, lads?
FAQ:
FAQ
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality http://imgur.com/a/2qH90
>What the fuck is wrong with her eyebrows?
Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.
>How do I pronounce her name?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOCO51-ApLE
>Can I post other waifus on /cara/?
The waifus that are /cara/-approved are: Kaya Scodelario, Mirukawa, Kristen Stewart and Barbara Palvin. We always encourage Caraposting instead of other-approved-waifu-posting.

i'm pretty sure cara has had bubblegum in her mouth all week. at least that was her entire snapchat history
chillin
oh, by the way:
thank you very much again to the carabro that uploaded the new Jon Hopkins album for me, i enjoyed it immensely.
Hey /cara/bros!
>>16981843
Glad you enjoyed it! That whole series, Late Night Tales, is pretty spectacular. I really like the Trentemoller Late Night Tales in case you want to investigate that series a bit more.
>>16981915
>those eyes
hello! how are you?
> I really like the Trentemoller Late Night Tales in case you want to investigate that series a bit more.
i wasn't aware that it was a full series, but you definitely have my attention now. gonna go on the hunt as soon as i can.

Pretty good! What about yourself? Usual Sunday, probably going to go for a swim in a bit. Did some shopping yesterday, was in dire need of a new belt (lost a bunch of weight and then had a ridiculous old belt I was using that was too long). Found an old suit jacket from way back that sort of fit me (bit big), so I thought I might get it tailored, but apparently the style is old and shouldn't be wearing a suit jacket as a sport coat so I cancelled that idea. I wish Cara would teach me about fashion so I could look my best.
>>16981954
>Pretty good! What about yourself?
same! i actually felt great all week because i changed a whole bunch of things up about what you could call my daily routine and it's been very refreshing.
i feel a lot happier day to day, but time goes by incredibly quickly. the weekend wasn't as good but still pretty chill.
i did a bunch of shopping this week as well, maybe not my most financially responsible moment as most of the money went towards a new tracksuit and a bottle of black label but all's well that ends well.
>Found an old suit jacket from way back that sort of fit me (bit big), so I thought I might get it tailored, but apparently the style is old and shouldn't be wearing a suit jacket as a sport coat so I cancelled that idea.
it might be worth it if it's good quality and the fit is still where it's supposed to be, although a bit big. agreed that if it's a very proper looking jacket, you probably can't use it like a sport coat. in my opinion, sport coats needs to be a bit more rugged and be able to have a bit of character on their own.
>I wish Cara would teach me about fashion so I could look my best.
same. cara's casual fashion is fantastic.
"Can you please do Cara Delevingne as every member of Devo manning an anti-aircraft gun during the blitz?

Nice, good to hear!
>it might be worth it if it's good quality and the fit is still where it's supposed to be, although a bit big. agreed that if it's a very proper looking jacket, you probably can't use it like a sport coat. in my opinion, sport coats needs to be a bit more rugged and be able to have a bit of character on their own.
Seemed like it was a bit too suit jacket like. Also it is older and so it's a three button. Now everything is one or two buttons. So, I think I'd have ended up looking pretty dated. Shame to throw out something expensive like that, but, I'm afraid I'd have looked goofy even if it fit after the tailor finished. I'm not confident that I'd know if it looked silly or not.
Eventually I'll bucket and go buy a new one, I don't really go out much but in my area it's a handy thing to have in the winter. Go to a nice dinner can wear a sportcoat as a bit of a jacket (it doesn't get very cold here) and also is kind of dressy.
>same. cara's casual fashion is fantastic.
Not really sure where to learn more about fashion. /fa/ is difficult. I'm a bit too old for it I think, and a lot of the tastes are very streetwear and just a bit too young for me. Cara's fashion is absolutely perfect.
>>16981992
>>16982043
I'm gunna take a swim carabro! I'll be back a bit later!
most of all, i'm happy that it's finally starting to cool down now. we won't see over 22°C for the rest of the year, probably until next summer.
>>16982043
>it is older and so it's a three button. Now everything is one or two buttons
yeah, you should probably forget about that then. that's quite old-fashioned.
>Go to a nice dinner can wear a sportcoat as a bit of a jacket (it doesn't get very cold here) and also is kind of dressy.
smart casual is best casual for men, unless you're still pretty young, then even smart casual looks overdressed.
>Not really sure where to learn more about fashion.
honestly i couldn't say either, i don't have a designated source for any of that. i just pick up bits and pieces here and there. i suppose what enabled me doing that in the first place might have been tumblr since i have a blog there.
men's fashion in general though seems to be in a bit of a gray area between "very strange" and "doesn't really exist", so i don't know much about the really fine points unless i specifically must find out about something.
I can't believe I finally caught the Cara thread at its beginning

the weather, I hate cold and rain
I wish I lived in a part of the world where I could live naked all year (pic related)

aah, you're like the opposite to me. i wish i could live in a cold place like iceland. there aren't even any mosquitos up there, it's basically heaven

Smart casual is what I tend to go for. Any recommendations on brands to buy shirts from as the winter approaches? I have Santoni shoes, a Ferragamo belt, Bottega Veneta wallet, AG jeans in slim fit, to give you an idea of what I wear. I have some Hugo Boss and Burberry polos... I wear a lot of polos in the summer, not sure for winter. Weekends I wear t-shirts, more fitted ones. I'm a thin for an American, bmi is nearing 21.
>>16982160
>Any recommendations on brands to buy shirts from as the winter approaches?
i really couldn't tell you, sorry.
no what do you mean of course i didn't completely forget it was sunday i'm just fashionably late
>>16982180
"a carabro is never late..."
how are you, dutchbro?
>>16982143
you have a point, hot weather means you have to deal with bigass venomous spiders hiding in your shoes, waiting
home now
>>16982111
>what did you think of kimi today in singapore?
only had the race on the background while i was working so didn't get to see much. was he better than usual?
>>16982202
trust me, the small venomous ones are worse than the big ones.
once found a black widow including egg sac in a pair of trainers... safe to say neither the trainer nor the spider exist anymore
>>16982212
he was in third at one point, then ferrari ordered him to go into the pit to try and undercut, basically forcing him to give up podium. he's a poor guy... if he deals with any more stupid ferrari shenanigans like this then maybe ricciardo will have to become my favourite driver instead

bit lost, not even in a depressive way i just don't really know

>>16982250
i've been doing very well, thank you for asking

i don't know, it's fucking stupid..
but if you look at any highlights at all, you should look at kvyat fighting off verstappen. some say kvyat simply doesn't give a shit anymore, but if that's what compels him to drive so superbly then he should give less of a shit more often
>>16982267
>hm... why could that be? just lacking direction in life?
ye definitely that, need someone to come slap me in the face
>>16982267
>you should look at kvyat fighting off verstappen
i did see that live actually, good stuff.
so mirubro, you have some knowledge of programming, right?
>>16982040
This is amazing.
>>16982292
i've been there, it's hard to get out of that uncertainty for sure. i hope you find what you're looking for soon.
>so mirubro, you have some knowledge of programming, right?
a tiny bit, yeah.
everyone off to sleep already? sorry i've been very slow, talking to some friends about DTM
>>16982329
>a tiny bit, yeah.
just in case you're being modest i'll ask anyway. if you are completely unable to offer any advice that's fine too.
basically i have an idea for a web service, but i have no prior experience except basic introductions to HTML & VB. some things it will need:
- large database (millions of entries) populated by users
- user logins
- geographic lookups
how likely it is that i could teach myself using existing services? would i be forced to hire developers to make it happen?
>>16982411
>how likely it is that i could teach myself using existing services?
very likely. setting up and interfacing an SQL database to a login service/website is really rather easy, and geographic lookups based on IP are nothing more than a simple HTML plugin in most cases. we did this for our school project no longer than two and a half months ago and we didn't have much trouble without having prior experience with setting up databases. i didn't do much of it personally though since i was in charge of finishing html on our website and making an android app.
>>16982425
that's very encouraging, thanks. could you recommend a particular service or starting point? i'm only aware of things like wix and siteground but i figure they are too basic to build proper sites which serve millions of people
>>16982444
>could you recommend a particular service or starting point?
look into MySQL if your database isn't aiming to be MONSTROUS, it should handle things fine.
in terms of proper sites, there's quite a few services like squarespace which offer a pretty sleek package and all of the backend access you'd normally need.
i don't know what exactly it is you're trying to create so i can't be more in-depth than that, sorry
shit i'm such a slacker
>>16982456
so am i, i got really distracted. my bad
>>16982459
i'll just start dumping things for you guys
>>16982453
it actually could get pretty huge, as in hundreds of millions of records...
anyway, i'm leaving my job in about a month to start working on my idea, i guess i'll keep /cara/ updated with my progress. thanks for the tips!
