Sunday evening, carathread is a go! How you doin', carabros? wanna know tee bee eitch
FAQ
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality http://imgur.com/a/2qH90
>what about the rumors that she's a coalburner?
There is currently no evidence supporting the claim that she ever engaged in sex with any other black person than Jourdan Dunn.
>What the fuck is wrong with her eyebrows?
Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.
>How do I pronounce her name?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOCO51-ApLE
>Can I post other waifus on /cara/?
The waifus that are /cara/-approved are: Kaya Scodelario, Mirukawa, Kristen Stewart and Barbara Palvin. We always encourage Caraposting instead of other-approved-waifu-posting.
>that feel when my starter image is good enough to be reused
good evening carabros.
pretty anxious time for me. leaving my job soon, then going on a few epic vacations, then after that i have to look for a new job, possibly in a new country.
i imagine a few other carabros will be anxious too as they finish their studies in september.
>>16922979
it's beautiful! good evening. how are you?
>>16922985
i preempted your question:
>>16922983
:3
how are you?
also i'm at work right now so i have a limited selection of pictures and won't be posting as much
>>16922986
beat me to it!
i'm okay. this week hasn't been too kind to me but it's mostly me trying to deal with personal problems. i'm still looking for work as well, not sure how much longer that will be..
i guess being home for so long is starting to fuck with me a little bit.
>>16922983
>pretty anxious time for me. leaving my job soon, then going on a few epic vacations, then after that i have to look for a new job, possibly in a new country.
i remember this! do you have any specific travel destinations in mind already, and destinations for possible work? reminder if you need to couch surf in vienna i'm all ears :D
>>16922988
all's well, i'm quite distracted right now as well but that won't stop me from keeping the thread alive!
Hey /cara/bros!
>>16922985
Doing well, got my LASIK done on Thursday and now have 20/20 vision! How about you?
>>16923010
>got my LASIK done on Thursday and now have 20/20 vision!
awesome! no complications at all and healed already?
>How about you?
i'm alright, like i said my week started pretty melodramatic but it's mostly passed.
>>16923009
>this week hasn't been too kind to me but it's mostly me trying to deal with personal problems
sorry to hear that, hope it's nothing too serious. are you doing OK for money while you're looking for work?
>if you need to couch surf in vienna i'm all ears
pretty bold of you to accept a stranger from 4chan of all places, but good to know, thanks.
at the moment i have one trip planned for the northern coast of Norway (including Tromso) in November, then another trip around the Sweden/Finland border in December. maybe also Japan in the spring.
>>16923010
i never considered doing this for myself before until you brought it up a few weeks ago. just figured i would wear glasses forever, but seriously thinking about it now.
>>16923022
>awesome! no complications at all and healed already?
Yep, no complications. I can't swim for 3 weeks and have to put some eyedrops in four times a day for a week, but no pain and eyes feel good.
>i'm alright, like i said my week started pretty melodramatic but it's mostly passed.
So school is all done and feeling anxious about what comes next? It'll get better.
>>16923024
>i never considered doing this for myself before until you brought it up a few weeks ago. just figured i would wear glasses forever, but seriously thinking about it now.
It's still surgery, but it's very low risk. I'd say if you are fed up with glasses and contacts, it's worth seeing if you are a candidate. For sure pick a place that is really well known. I went to Bascom Palmer, which is a really well known eye place in America. For me it's so sunny all the time here in Florida that glasses are a pain because always have to carry regular ones plus sunglasses. And my contacts kept irritating me, despite trying a ton of different brands. So, LASIK is safe, but, I'd still say wait until you can't stand glasses and/or contacts anymore. Technically LASIK is safer than wearing contacts over some amount of years, but glasses are safer.
The surgery is creepy but it's fast at least. I was very anxious about it.
Now to get some cool sunglasses like /cara/...
>>16923022
>>16923039
>i'm alright, like i said my week started pretty melodramatic but it's mostly passed.
Oh I got you confused. What happened earlier in the week?
>>16923024
>sorry to hear that, hope it's nothing too serious.
it's not. i'm usually pretty reluctant to accept help from anyone but my friends have my back and that alone makes me feel a bit better.
>are you doing OK for money while you're looking for work?
i am, yeah. my family still has most of the money from selling our house last year so i have financial support from there.
it's only been a little over a month since my classes ended so i don't think i'll need to get any sort of government assistance unless for some stupid reason i don't get hired anywhere soon.
>pretty bold of you to accept a stranger from 4chan of all places, but good to know, thanks.
i guess it is, but i'm honestly not too worried. i trust the people here, not blindly but still.
it has a bit to do with the nature of /cara/ as well. one day my kindness will bite me in the ass but it's nothing very new to me
>at the moment i have one trip planned for the northern coast of Norway (including Tromso) in November, then another trip around the Sweden/Finland border in December. maybe also Japan in the spring.
all those sound fantastic. planning to go far north in scandinavia during the winter?
>>16923028
MY FATHER
TOOK ME INTO THE CITY
TO SEE A MARCHING BAND
>>16923043
>What happened earlier in the week?
just feeling pretty emo about myself, is everything.
i don't want to sound like some kind of narcissist but i feel like i'm always there for the people who need me yet never leave time for myself.
so i decided to focus on myself a bit more, maybe retreat from social media / my online communities a bit. it's just a hard thing for me to do, i pretty much just stamped it off as being melodramatic and forgot about it, but it's definitely something lingering in my mind at the moment.
>>16923051
Focusing on yourself sounds like a good idea. Helping other people is great, but, if you aren't okay yourself it makes it very hard to help others.
Online communities can also take up a lot of energy if you let things get out of control. I think the reason I like 4chan so much is it is the one place I feel like I don't have a commitment so I can come and go as I please, versus when I was on other communities in my younger years they sometimes felt like an obligation.
>>16923051
>planning to go far north in scandinavia during the winter?
hell yeah. i already did iceland in the winter and it was probably the greatest thing i've ever done.
>i'm always there for the people who need me yet never leave time for myself
i guess that's your kindness biting you in the ass. i have struggled with a similar thing for a long time, only just learning recently to say no to people when necessary for my own health.
Hey guys, JP bro here. I hope at least some of you remember me, I've been gone for like 4 months now. I'll be a dad in a few more months so I have that to look forward to.
Anyway I'm up really late tonight so I thought I'd take a quick peek at the thread before bed.
Have a good thread bros peace out.
>>16923109
of course we remember you. you're the only carabro who has actually been in a room with cara!
good luck with the baby.
>>16923075
>Focusing on yourself sounds like a good idea. Helping other people is great, but, if you aren't okay yourself it makes it very hard to help others.
yeah, it's just hard for me. maybe it has to do with my childhood/early teenage years but i just wanna be there for people, and removing myself from some communities / trying to cocoon for a while makes that not possible to me. i could sit and try to psychoanalyze this all day but it probably won't lead anywhere. all i'm doing now is trying to find a balance, i'm not a fan of continuously distracting myself so i pretty much face everything head-on and it gets pretty heavy sometimes. it'll buff out though, we're all gonna make it
>>16923101
>i already did iceland in the winter and it was probably the greatest thing i've ever done.
very jealous, i love the cold and iceland might just be the most magical place on earth.
protip: http://www.kakslauttanen.fi/en/
>i guess that's your kindness biting you in the ass.
huh. that's... a pretty good point actually.
maybe i simply need an enemy. i just don't wanna turn into an asshole.
>>16923109
>Hey guys, JP bro here. I hope at least some of you remember me, I've been gone for like 4 months now.
of course i remember you! i've asked about you a few times but like you said, you were pretty absent. i've seen you off and on on steam but that's about all.
>I'll be a dad in a few more months so I have that to look forward to.
i'm sure i said it before but congratulations! i wish you all the best, bro.
>>16923116
>protip: http://www.kakslauttanen.fi/en/
dang. gonna send this to my friend immediately, we might end up staying here.
thx 4 da tip
>>16923109
Hey of course I remember you.
Congrats on being a father soon!

my pleasure!

>watching last year's batsu game and hanging around on discord
comfy. anyone know about batsu games?
>>16923175
hi carabro! how goes it?
>>16923177
quite alright thanks for asking, weathers a bit humid though
>>16923177
>>16923219
how about you??
>>16923228
better by the hour, thank you. but really, i'm just fine. thanks for asking.
>>16923137
this is fantastic. i have actually been to turku and it was pretty nice in reality.
>>16923175
C U T E
speaking of, the last few days here were mercilessly hot. good thing i only really had to get out of the house yesterday to buy some stuff inside the shopping mall, namely a hair dryer
i actually really don't like using them, they hurt your hair a lot but if i'm gonna shower in the morning during winter and then go out to work with wet hair i'm just gonna be sick instantly. can't have that.
>>16923247
hahah, yeah i'm sure. finnish friend just likes to overload me with memes and the awful rally english makes me laugh really hard
>>16923250
crazy sexy cute, always
>>16923262
It's been hot here too, I went outside just for some sunlight and could only last like 15 minutes. Roasting.
>>16923267
my sleep schedule's been really messy so i haven't really had to experience the broad side of the mid-day heat, but i really do not handle high temperatures well at all. i can't wait for winter at this point.
winter's not that great in the city though, it's mostly cold and slush so maybe late autumn will take its place as my favourite time of year. i could show you guys some video of the austrian countryside in winter but i'd have to dig through my ex girlfriend's chatlogs, aaaand i'd rather not. she's a very strange one.
>>16923281
I like May in your part of the world too. Usually a nice time there.
>>16923291
>I like May in your part of the world too. Usually a nice time there.
definitely. i'm already a bit biased on late spring because my birthday is in late april :D
i don't know if i mentioned this, but last time i went out to the inner city i decided to stop by the central park to hang out a bit, and the place was completely clogged with people playing pokemon go. shit was wild.
I had no idea these threads existed until today
What's up Carabros?
>>16923304
welcome newfriend.
i think we have been on /s/ for about a year now? r9k before that. not sure exactly when the switch was
.
important question: how big is your cara folder?
>>16923304
>I had no idea these threads existed until today
welcome! we've been around for a while, starting on /r9k/ and now /s/. bringing positivity every sunday
>What's up Carabros?
not a whole lot. just hanging out here, talking to a friend and watching japanese comedy series. how about you? how/what are you doing?
>>16923308
Thank you for the welcome. I'm afraid I haven't been building it up for long, so it's puny right now (~100 pictures)
>>16923311
Thanks! I'm doing well, trying to eat healthier and exercise more, and I'm doing some cleaning today.
>>16923319
well hey there!
ok i have to make my long commute home now, so can't help you reach the image limit tonight.
see y'all next week after the Belgian GP
>>16923304
Hello! Welcome! We're here every Sunday.
>>16923329
>trying to eat healthier and exercise
I've been trying to do that too! Had some success last year, but kind of leveled off now. I feel hungry a lot. At least I'm not overweight anymore, bmi is 21.
>>16923334
Have a great week anon! See you next time.
>>16923329
>I'm doing well, trying to eat healthier and exercise more, and I'm doing some cleaning today.
that's always good. reminds me of the carabro here that said that Cara is his inspiration for getting in shape.
i've been doing the same but having nothing to really do all day is making it difficult to stay focused. i'll get there in time though, especially once winter is here again. the heat ACTUALLY makes me lazy.
>>16923334
see you next time, carabro! can't wait for spa.
speaking of (and i don't know if anyone here is interested in my twitch streams) but i've started doing multiplayer races on assetto corsa. really good fun.
>>16923337
if the streams are available to watch later i'd be interested in watching the multiplayer races. i have never been able to watch your streams live though, can't get a stable connection.
>>16923362
>if the streams are available to watch later i'd be interested in watching the multiplayer races.
yeah, they are! here's my most recent one, race starts after qualifying at around 7min 10 seconds. i'm glad someone out there likes them <3
twitch tv/lord_esuba/v/83765402
audio levels are a bit shit but i just got a new microphone, they're better on newer vods but i haven't been racing
pretty quiet night.

sorry am just dead tired, fell asleep in my chair just now
>>16923452
cara and dunn have such a great personality, the others don't look as fun.

that's so beautiful
>>16923466
What a lovely tune. I think I have this downloaded because it was a WCD staff pick but always forget to put it on.
>>16923466
oh i suree am now
>>16923468
>What a lovely tune.
yeah, it's wonderful. i got it out of this KOAN sound mix that i still listen to from time to time
https://soundcloud.com/mixmag-1/in-session-koan-sound-asa
>>16923475
Looks like a great mix! Going to grab it now (found a dl on google) and listen to it this week in the car.
On the way to work I like to listen to more upbeat stuff, but going home I like I wind down with nice things like this.
http://s1196.photobucket.com/user/imrickjamesbetch/media/Catalog/image1xxlasos.jpg.html
found this rather large catalog of loads of pictures including some cara asos pics i had never seen before
>>16923489
nice find! gonna grab them now.
>>16923485
you might like this album too! it's also very chill but a bit more upbeat past song 1.

>>16923491
Thanks, I'll download it!
>>16923500
my pleasure! jon hopkins is a bit of a genius, loved his album "Immunity" too, but that's quite a bit heavier.
Damn it late again...
>>16923567
next time! how are you anyway?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDSIbRHjQEM
hoo boy, i come home to a whole bunch of cara pics i have never seen before.
you have a special talent in searching the interwebs
>>16923599
<3
>>16923366
all i get is this forever :(
twitch just hates me
>>16923609
sad days :(
do you have NoScript or AdBlock on? that might be it, or try another browser unless it's your connection
>>16923626
i left it open and it's actually working, but it gives me one second of footage, then buffers for another 5 minutes, then gives me another second of the video, and so on.
so basically there is a connection problem somewhere, but i don't think it's just me because i have no problem downloading files from other websites at 3-4 Mbps
i'll try to google it at some point and see if i can locate the problem
>>16923635
hope you manage to solve it, that really sounds like a pain if you just wanna chill and watch a stream one evening. i remember twitch used to have huge problems when tournament streams were going on, seems like they cleaned that up tho
slowly winding down.. it's been very comfy.
>>16923656
it sure has. only thing left to do is hit the image limit.
>>16923659
indeed. feels so nice to be able to check in with everyone every week, exchange some cara pics and stories, talk about random stuff, and even pick up some new posters once in a while.
>>16923677
for sure. kinda funny that we share so much about our lives but don't even know each other's names. i know you as mirubro, you probably just know me as 'that guy who loves scandinavia' or something
>>16923682
and now you're scandibro. easy peasy!
the naming thing actually just sort of came about, i don't think i started calling myself that until the old OP quit and moved, for continuity sake. the only other person i can think of that basically named themselves is wagebro. i could be wrong though.
>>16923698
how could you forget JPbro
>>16923703
did JPbro name himself though, or did we come up with that? i was actually just thinking that.
>>16923706
good point. i could probably find out by going through my archives but it's really not worth the effort.
nanight :3
>>16923717
so qt
until next time, carabros
>>16923721
good night!
and goodbye from me as well. thank you as always for coming and posting in the thread i made tonight, i couldn't do it without you. see you next time, love you <3
