yeah, i feel you. when i concentrate on something i never blink enough and my contacts start stinging because they just get too dry. it's pretty bad, but outside they work well.

I just hope she doesn't have a kid with him before that happens. We grew up in a divorced family, and, I know that's not a great environment for a kid.

it's hard to imagine for me how much pressure that puts on a relationship as well, if you're having a child yet still drifting apart. i guess that's how people get violent, and that's how kids get taught to despise at least one of their parents. i know i sound awful as well, but i can't help it. i think it's extremely important to the child.

One thing: if possible, have a friend available to help you out if your preparation is inadequate. Frex, LASEK makes you light sensitive so I'd made sure to have curtains up. Turned out I had no idea _how_ light sensitive... so friends helped me fix that.

Another good thing was laying in a supply of bottled water and meal bars. LASIK recovery is quicker but if you do get a herder recovery only needing to get up to go to the toilet is good.

Mine didn't offer any sedatives, and I really wish they would have.
