You can see her with her ears pierced in many other sets as well. Maybe the holes in her ear grow back incredibly fast... or they shop it out. Or maybe she used to pierce her ears, but now just glues stuff on there. Hahaha.
I have never had any piercings ever, so I have no idea how they work.

There were a few people in an earlier thread who speculated that she might have some Korean ancestry. Though I wonder why people keep brining up that she might have had some plastic surgery done. She fixed her teeth, yes, is there anything else we know for sure that she's done? She looks very natural to me. On many Korean girls it's very obvious, but the thought never even crossed my mind regarding Ai. She looks unique, not like those copy-paste Koreans.

No, I'm thinking of her face. Her boobs are as natural as they come, thank the gods. People claim she's had surgery done to her face. I don't know either way, which is why I'm curious. Though she looks very natural to me, with her small minor imperfections. Like her left eye being slightly smaller than the right.

She was actually 14. There was a period of about a year sometime around 2010-2012 where she was mostly inactive. As I -and several other fans- understood, this was caused by issues with her agency at the time and her transferring to another one. Some people think this hiatus was also because she had some surgery done on her face. She certainly looked different when she was a junior, but she's changed within natural bounds I'd say. She looks older and more mature is all.

I became a fan before 2010, but at some point I deleted all her pre-18 material that I had because it felt wrong to keep it around. In other words, I came to the same conclusion as you did. People still post some of her old pre-18 stuff from time to time, however.
