Mirubro edition #2.
Hello and welcome once again to Sunday /cara/, I'm back from the advent market in my old hometown and it's time to begin.
Make yourself a cup of tea and get comfy with us, will you?
Giving a FAQ:
>who is she and what does she do? i would google her but i doubt it would be worth the effort.
Cara Delevingne is primarily occupied with being the #1 qtpie waifu and stealing hearts of men and women. Other her hobbies include changing the world of fashion forever and being a pretty good actress.
>what makes Cara the #1 qtpie waifu?
there is the obvious unprecedented beauty and cuteness, and then there is the adorable and lovely personality. http://imgur.com/a/2qH90
>what about the rumors that she's a coalburner?
There is currently no evidence supporting the claim that she ever engaged in sex with any other black person than Jourdan Dunn.
>What the fuck is wrong with her eyebrows?
Literally nothing, they're gorgeous.
>How do I pronounce her name?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOCO51-ApLE
>Can I post other waifus on /cara/?
The waifus that are /cara/-approved are: Kaya Scodelario, Mirukawa, Kristen Stewart and Barbara Palvin. We always encourage Caraposting instead of other-approved-waifu-posting.
I'm just about to hop in the shower and then I'll be back to funpost. My IT prof started teaching again on friday so i'll have to get up early tomorrow.
JP bro reporting in at 1 am. Gotta love stress induced all nighters.
Maybe I just sperged out but I made us an IRC channel to communicate thread timings or to talk about anything when the thread isn't up. I was expecting a midweek thread but apparently we agreed not to make one for example.
here's the link:

channel and password name is cara4life
el bumpo
btw that's a swag ass font OP did you make that pic or is it old?
Kayabro reporting in. Going to watch some Man in the high castle while Caraposting
What TV/Films does /Cara/ enjoy?
>less of a movie and more of a collection of ideas and philosophies
I'll probably check it out some time, it does sound quite interesting. At the moment though I, just trying to watch something that's entertaining and doesn't require 100% of my concentration. Also I'll watch anything with nazis in it
>>16326974
Feel for you senpai, my cat died 6 weeks ago and the house still feels empty without him. We're looking to get a new one for Christmas though
lmao you faggots got BTFO and landed here? Pathetic desu
>>16326963
sup bro
I just watched this documentary on Netflix called Call Me Lucky about a comedian named Barry Crimmins who is very well known amongst a lot of stand up performers but not the general public.
This guy has had an absolutely crazy life and the documentary is just incredible. It's funny and emotional. I highly recommend it.
>>16326974
Nice work on the pic. Sorry about your cat.
>>16326986
i wouldn't say BTFO, the robot made caraposting unsuitable. nothing else, really.
>>16326985
>Feel for you senpai, my cat died 6 weeks ago and the house still feels empty without him. We're looking to get a new one for Christmas though
yeah, it's a strange feeling. sometimes i'll hear something and think "must've been the cat" before remembering.
i'm not sure if i'll get a new cat though.
speaking of Tesla Boy though, aren't they supposed to release a new single today?

oh, and did anyone here watch F1 today? sadly i missed it.
>>16327050
fapping and designing clothes as usual
>>16327066
is your work confidential or can i see some? not talking about the fapping.
>>16327068
sure, I don't have a portfolio of all the pieces I've worked on until recently when I was put in charge of all denim fabric designs.
this was one of the first runway pieces I worked on from the Gucci Spring/Summer 2007 show at Milan Fashion Week. I worked on different parts of the design with about 4 or 5 other people with the oversight of our creative director (who was Frida Gianni at the time).
>>16327089
Actually I think it was the Fall/Winter show that year based off the color. I can't remember exactly it was quite a while ago.
>>16327089
that's pretty nice! i won't bother you too much with questions, but maybe one of your pieces will appear on my blog one of these days :D
>>16327096
I hope so that would be pretty cool. What is your blog called? I don't like to follow more Cara bros I've only followed 1 so far.
>>16327110
i'm the one you're following, i'm pretty sure.
empty-talking on tumblr, aka Mirubro aka Viennabro aka whatever.
>>16327115
oh yeah you are. I never know who I'm talking to on here lol
I always wonder how many of us there are in these threads. Sometimes it feels like hundreds and other times like a dozen.
>>16327130
on the bottom right it says how many posters there are, going off unique IP. we're 4 so far, but we're not all here yet.
we're usually never above 12 though, even in the old threads.
i wonder if the old OP ever feels like trying again, we should redirect him here.
>>16327141
We probably got a lot more on /r9k/ threads when rosebuds and virgins turned up. But we've only about 19 regulars I think
>>16327166
>But we've only about 19 regulars I think
that sounds like far too much to me, but every thread has the possibility of adding more.
it's just a special kind of thing we have here, on /r9k/ it was extremely polarizing so that's where most (maybe all?) of us came from.
>>16327175
hi carabro!
>Early thread, might need a second one imo.
sounds fine with me. i can make it, but i might not be there for it.
>iktf bro, pic related left me 2 weeks ago
ah man, i'm sorry to hear that, my condolences.
>And you Carafriend ?
mostly the same. studying, playing some games, some guitar, and spending time with family. all in all pretty comfy, but it's gotten a little stale over the last few weeks, with my professor being on sick leave.
i probably shouldn't be looking forward to getting up at 6am tomorrow like i used to, but i kinda am.
>>16327166
There is no way we're even close to 19, even if I count myself twice.
>>16327185
>getting up at 6am
long commute ?
i can't embrace the neet life too, it becames boring too fast (if thar's what you meant to say)
>>16327225
>long commute ?
about an hour. class starts at 8am and i'm definitely not a morning person, so i take some time for myself. i could probably push it to 6:30 if i really needed to.
>i can't embrace the neet life too, it becames boring too fast (if thar's what you meant to say)
sort of. i don't mind a work or school routine, but if there is a routine, i like it to be very consistent. i find myself not doing anything useful with sudden free time. i was NEET for many years so i got used to that one, even though i'd hate it now too.
>>16327174
>>16327217
I meant 10, sorry for the confusion bros
>>16327235
>about an hour. class starts at 8am and i'm definitely not a morning person
same, except i wake up at around 6h20, i wash myself the evening though
how do you pass the time ? music and reading school stuff ? personally i take the underground so i just borrow a book at uni and read it
>if there is a routine, i like it to be very consistent
well, same again. i just waste my time then and i feel bad, never lived the neet life though, only during holidays.
>>16327246
>same, except i wake up at around 6h20, i wash myself the evening though
i do too, i have long hair and it just takes too long to dry in this weather. i'll just end up sick.
>how do you pass the time ? music and reading school stuff ?
music, studying, reading, video games and some other time wasters here and there. i have a few interests i keep up with but i'm always looking for something more if time permits it.
>personally i take the underground so i just borrow a book at uni and read it
i take the cable car and subway as well, so same thing.
>>16327258
>somewhere there is a close version of you, just less autistic
damn
>>16327281
hahah, i'll not argue about who is more or less autistic, i'm sure you're fine. do you have hair like mine too, or are we both just bored students on public transport? :D
How to convert non-believers to the cult of Cara?
>>16327351
let's be honest, what reason is there not to join? i can't see any.
well, except for the suicide pact.
>>16327360
Someone on the /hr/ thread that Cara should kill herself right now to immortalize her beauty before she loses it to old age.
What do you guys think about that?
>>16327360
ughh those eyes
>>16327361
said that**
>kill herself
>immortalize her beauty
it already is. look at everything she's done. hell, look at your folder. it's all there and she's made her mark on history. what reason does she then have to not live a long and fulfilling life?
you don't always need to die for people to remember you. it's not how you die, it's how you breathe.
HELLO CARABROS
I am late so I didn't get to start the thread but I'm here anyway. Pls no F1 spoilers, I didn't watch the race yet.
>>16327361
>What do you guys think about that?
I feel bad for saying it but I sort of agree. And it's awful because it completely dehumanizes her and turns her into merely a character in my timeline, but somehow it just seems right.
>>16327418
hi carabro. no matter if you're late, we're far from image cap.
>I feel bad for saying it but I sort of agree.
i don't understand why.
if you dehumanize her in this way, then what is the difference between "she was beautiful before she turned old" and "she was beautiful before she died"?
why does a person die for you to appreciate her the way you always used to?
>>16327418
Same here, I feel bad for kind of agreeing with it, that's why I brought it up. I would hate to see her die or something though I would be incredibly depressed. Especially after meeting her in person.
>>16327426
Whenever I look at actresses from like the 50s or 60s, people tend to focus more on what they look like now at the end of their life than at the beginning. Oh well at least we will age along side Cara so it might be different.
>>16327432
>Whenever I look at actresses from like the 50s or 60s, people tend to focus more on what they look like now at the end of their life than at the beginning.
You don't have to be that guy. also, Marilyn Monroe? Madonna? the only ones that are focused on when they're old and shriveled up are the ones that can't age gracefully and try to stay in the spotlight forever.
>Oh well at least we will age along side Cara so it might be different.
that's a good point.
>>16327292
idk, but we both love Cara desu senpai :^)
Was eating btw
>>16327351
>How to convert non-believers to the cult of Cara?
If someone can't realize Cara is the true waifu, they don't deserve her
>>16327360
>the suicide pact
i don't remember signing anything, is it too late ?
>>16327418
hey Carafriend
>>16327437
I can picture it now, sitting with my grandkids on my lap in 50 years. The autistic fat one shows me his waifu who has tech augmentations and prosthetic everything like all the cool young people.
Pull out my ancient iPhone 50 I got on sale for seniors and find old photos of Cara and talk about how pure of a waifu she was.
My autistic grandson calls me old and weird and levitates away on his hovercraft.
Can't wait.
>>16327426
>why does a person die for you to appreciate her the way you always used to?
It's not that I wouldn't appreciate her anymore, of course I would. But for comparison, think of Elvis Presley's death. He is a legend regardless, but his 'story' would be perfect if didn't have that blemish - of being overweight and middle aged and shitting himself to death.
Dying young always cements a person's status in a way that the their career alone doesn't. Another example that comes to mind for me is Ayrton Senna, who is remembered above Alain Prost even though they drove at the same time and Prost was more successful.
>>16327447
>i don't remember signing anything, is it too late ?
yes.
>>16327453
hahaha, fucking nice story.
>>16327468
do you not consider suicide a blemish? for nothing more than your fame to last, at the cost of your own life?
i think Senna is a bad example, he died doing what he loved.
"To do something well is so worthwhile that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy." -Bruce McLaren
>watching Gran Torino
>theses feels
>>16327503
>do you not consider suicide a blemish?
That's a fair point, I guess I didn't consider the 'kill herself' bit, just the fact that she would die. To play devil's advocate though, you could say a victim of depression is a victim nonetheless, just as Senna was.
>>16327521
>That's a fair point, I guess I didn't consider the 'kill herself' bit, just the fact that she would die.
then her way of death would be the blemish. doesn't matter if it's a heart attack on the shitter (like elvis) or a car crash (like princess diana), right?
>To play devil's advocate though, you could say a victim of depression is a victim nonetheless, just as Senna was.
depression is not a death sentence though, you can overcome it, even if it will never fully leave. i was diagnosed with clinical depression many years ago and i'm still functioning..
and wouldn't it be more beautiful to live a good life despite of that depression, instead of quitting whenever you feel satisfied?
no hostility of course, i appreciate the conversation.
>>16327532
>and wouldn't it be more beautiful to live a good life despite of that depression, instead of quitting whenever you feel satisfied?
I suppose so. I think part of my viewpoint comes from cara's underlying instability which makes me concerned for her future. I don't think anybody can really say what she will be doing 20 years from now.
>>16327532
>no hostility of course
I really enjoy arguments with friends, it's one of my favourite things to do and it saddens me that so many people take it as a personal attack when I disagree with then. I like you carabro.
>>16327576
>I think part of my viewpoint comes from cara's underlying instability which makes me concerned for her future.
i agree, but as concerned as it makes you (or her, for that matter), quitting while you're ahead is no solution, but rather an answer to the temporary.
>I don't think anybody can really say what she will be doing 20 years from now.
do you know what you will be doing?
>I really enjoy arguments with friends, it's one of my favourite things to do and it saddens me that so many people take it as a personal attack when I disagree with then.
again i agree, there's not too many people that you can argue with without the fear of offending these days. i just stay true blue, then the perpetually offended weed themselves out. also i don't know how it is where you live, but in austrian culture, arguing and teasing each other is all part of the experience. wouldn't be the same if i couldn't hurl insults at my friends the way we all do, right?
>I like you carabro.
you're alright too, pal. <3
>>16327594
>wouldn't be the same if i couldn't hurl insults at my friends the way we all do, right?
the way they all do, rather. you guys are nice.
>>16327594
>arguing and teasing each other is all part of the experience
I'm British so it's much the same, but there's a difference between that and a more in-depth discussion over, for example, someone becoming a vegan. It should just be treated as an intellectual discussion but instead I've seen people resent each other just for disagreeing over this point.
I wonder if this inability to converse in a detached and honest manner is something that has emerged recently, or if it's always been this way. I would ask my grandparents if they were still alive.

>>16327634
>I'm British so it's much the same, but there's a difference between that and a more in-depth discussion over, for example, someone becoming a vegan.
yeah of course, but it goes for most anything here. you can usually argue with someone without them becoming combative or something along the lines.
>I wonder if this inability to converse in a detached and honest manner is something that has emerged recently, or if it's always been this way. I would ask my grandparents if they were still alive.
i think it was always there, even in ancient scripture people like that are probably referenced, but this politically correct cultural movement from the new generation definitely has not helped. sad, but i'm not too worried about it.
>>16327647
hi! no worries, we're taking it nice and easy. i'm getting off in just about an hour though.
>i'm really sorry for the loss man
it's okay, friend. i'll miss her even a long time from now but she show must go on.
>>16327351
we don't need more people, there's plenty already, her image could be tainted by naysayers
>>16327654
lately there's been a lot of talk from my mom for a dog, i really wanted a CORSO, it's such a beautiful breed, but right now the economical situation is not the best and it's an expensive breed and a dog usually requires big spaces, which i don't have since i live with parents in a decently sized but not big enough "flat house" and i don't have a garden for him to go insane, still i was happy my mom brought it up, my dad has nothing against it just that first we gotta get back on our feet.
I always wanted a dog, but never had the chance, something was always in the way, i remember when i was little we had a beautiful mixed german shepard, but died when i was 5, still the few memories i have with him are of pure joy
>>16327670
>lately there's been a lot of talk from my mom for a dog, i really wanted a CORSO, it's such a beautiful breed
they are pretty good looking dogs, agreed. i hope that works out for you, carabro.
>i remember when i was little we had a beautiful mixed german shepard
one of my old neighbors had a beautiful one of those that he took care of with his brother, but his brother passed away and he had no time to care for it on his own, so it was given to a family member. loved that dog.

It would became extremly embarassing if she caught me staring at her, she would know i can't resist and might play with me by giving me a smile.
