Hey /r9k/ have you read Oyasumi Punpun? Is it any good and sad as everyone says? Do you recommend it?
>Don't send me to /a/, I wanna know your opinion.

why dont you read it and find out
>>39656883
Yes it's good. My gf has a pun pun tattoo
The end sucks fucking dick, Punpun makes hus girlfriend kill herself after he kills her mom and he ends up getting miraculously saved by some stupid bitch and lives happily ever after, and never hits rock bottom or faces consequences for his actions.
I wanted a bad ending instead.
punpun is my favorite work of art in any medium but its definitely not for everyone.
its EXTREMELY depressing and only gets darker and darker as it goes so if youre into that kind of thing you should absolutely read it. its a life changing piece of art and i blame the suicide attempt i made when i was 16 on it.
id recommend starting with girl on the shore (another of inio asanos works) its a similar tone but much shorter

Because it's quite long (for me) that's why I'm asking
>>39656883
How do I get a gf with an alien-like anime body?
>>39657018
>Its EXTREMELY depressing
Maybe if you have only been exposed to shit anime/manga writing all your life and youre a teenager.
>>39656946
Thanks for the spoiler, cocksucker.
>>39656883
OP what's the sauce on your pic?
>>39657197
Saved you a long trog through a shitty manga with traced art that only retarded teens or manchildren find sad, you're welcome.
>>39657219
I searched for oyasumi punpun on Google image
>>39656883
Don't read it if you're depressed, it will only make you even sadder.
>>39657197
Don't worry about the spoiler, the best part is the journey
>>39657018
Why do you recommend starting with girl on the shore senpai?
Fantastic story, but it's *very* dark. It's kind of like Evangelion in the sense that all of the characters are flawed and damaged. You probably won't be sympathetic with the main character at the end.
>>39656883
yeaahhh
sorry had to make it
>>39658122
sorry fixed
even better version
I'm still in vol 8, I've been holding reading the end because I don't know how much it will affect me. Now I'll proceed to leave the treat to avoid getting spoiled.
I read it earlier this year on a whim, knowing next to nothing about it and really enjoyed it. My experience was definitely improved by how little I knew, so it's a real shame that somebody spoiled parts of the manga in this thread, but I think you should still try reading it. As somebody already said in this thread, it's about the journey, and hopefully, it will be a memorable one.

Yeah I'm gonna read it anyways, besides, I didn't read completely that faggot's comment because I knew something like that could have happened
