How do I learn to make friends?

I dunno. I caved in and joined a Facebook group about anime because I'm tired of being asocial and only browsing 4chan. It honestly hasn't been too bad. It's a small-ish closed group so there's very little shitposting memes and people who aren't in the group can't see what I post. Try to join some local campus groups on fb or something, it's where all the normals organize events and talk to each other.

Now that I think about it, I guess it's obvious, but my only advice is that if you want to meet other people you have to join the spaces they're interacting in and seek them out.

From my experience, you can ask pretty much anyone if they want to do some homework after school.

Or you can ask anyone if they know if something is happening during the weekend.

If you wear regular clothes, dont smell like shit and aren't annoying, you are pretty much welcome to everything if you just ask if you can join.

I don't remember how I made so many friends at my first school. Maybe because it was so small and all of the students there were hippie freaks like me. I found it very easy.

Once I was forced to transfer to a big flagship party school obsessed with football, I never made a single friend from the university and found people uptight and standoffish, save for one single mother junkie squatter I befriended.

Big state universities are a death sentence if you're a robot. Go to weird hippie commune schools instead.

I'm currently at another normie school for graduate school, and it doesn't look like I'll be making friends here either. I feel totally out of place once again, and people think I'm a weirdo, as you can imagine.

I bit the bullet. You can stop groups from showing up on your profile by changing a single setting, and if the group is closed then posts made in it won't show to anyone who isn't also approved as a member, so it won't show your liked posts or anything to anyone else. Just make sure you join a closed group instead of a public one.

How to make friends easy mode:
Ok so first to make this easier, smoke:
>In Uni
>See people outside smoking
>Go smoke with them
>Ask for a light, but bring your own zigs.
>Talk with them
>Meet them a few times smoking
>Ask them if they go out drinking sometimes.
>Go out drinking with them
>Get drunk with them, talk about shit
>Just talk something, about uni and stuff, don't be "quiet"
>Go drinking 2-3 times
Congrats, you now have friends. Also smoking + drinking is less harmful to your health then having no friends.
Advanced:
This also works without smoking, just see people standing somewhere, go to them talk with them. But smoking breaks the ice the easiest way.
Ask people for stuff, about homework or something.
Also go out drinking with them eventually. I honestly don't know how you would make friends without drinking. I have a few friends who don't drink, but I have known them for a long time now. If you want people you can hang out with easy, then drink.

This is both legal with 16 in Germany, and people do it with 14 and nobody cares. This is how it works over here. I stopped smoking a year ago, I just go over and talk to people normally, but I guess people who make this kind of threads don't have this option.

Smoking cigarettes together is a great way to socialize with others, he's right. It isn't worth the addiction though.

Try smoking weed with people instead. It's way more fun than drinking games. A lot of people are really obnoxious when they drink, especially young, inexperienced drinkers. Although once you're drunk yourself, it's a blast to socialize with other drunk people.

This weekend I realized I hate being sober around drunk people, when I have a hangover in particular.
