Does anyone else often feel this weird "pulse" in your brain? I'm not sure how to describe it. It feels like there's a heartbeat in my brain. Doesn't hurt, but feels weird and is distracting. It's kind of an uncomfortable feeling. Doctors tell me it's nothing to worry about, but I wonder if anyone else experiences this.
>>
Yep, I experience the same thing. I've had it for as long as I can remember too.
>>
>>39643387
I do it, its mostly when i get tired or so, it's a normal thing, don't worry about it
>>
I get it on the side of my head. Sometimes my head feels pressured. Assuming it's normal, especially since I am using screens 10 hours a day.
>>
>trusting doctors
It's an implant to monitor your thoughts. Only way to get rid of it is to stick your head in a microwave.
>>
I have this weird thing where I'm about to fall asleep and I feel paralyzed and feel waves washing over me. I can break out of it by slowly rocking back and forth until I can actually move again.
>>
Did you get your blood pressure checked?
>>
>>39643387
>>39643402
>>39643406
>>39643414
You have high blood pressure and narrowed arteries and veins. This isn't normal
>>
>>39643479
Or it could be eye strain tension headaches that causes the same feeling.
>>
>>39643444
And you're suffering from sleep paralysis.
>>
>>39643479
I'ev never thought it's actually something thats not normal
>>
>>39643387
Literally anytime i'm trying to sleep or just randomly, why?

I find it interesting too
>>
>>39643487
Nobody is reporting pain, just a throbbing sensation. That's the heart beat pumping blood at a high pressure. If there was pain then sure.

>>39643579
You should go see a doctor and get your blood pressure checked. Are you overweight?
>>
>>39643601
No i'm actually more of anorexic i don't weigh as much but i gotta check my blood too cause i get dizzy too much so will probably do that too while there
>>
>>39643601
>skinnyfat
>never exercise
>head throbs sometimes
>vein on my temple kind of bulges when I'm laying down

wait am I fucked?
>>
>>39643627
These things are not normal. Please see a doctor.

>>39643625
Good anon. Good health is the most important thing.
>>
>>39643387
Sometimes it's like I can feel the blood or some sort of dense liquid flowing across my brain

crap I was afraid of this.

I'm a NEET with around $300 left. I'll spend the last of it on a visit, I never use it anyway.
>>
>>39643709
Being American must suck ass but it's better than having an untreated condition slowly get worse. It might even be nothing but it could also be something serious.
>>
>>39643737
It'll be a good time to get the 100 health questions out of the way at least.
>>
>>39643709
if you can't afford the meds he's going to prescribe you, visiting a doctor is literally pointless

I get it with migraines, sometimes feels like my brain is going to burst from pressure

have a few symptoms of a brain tumour but don't want to get checked out
>>
>>39643838
Not a doctor or anything but I'm pretty sure most people with brain cancer don't know it until they have a full blown seizure.
>>
>>39643796
You can lower blood pressure with diet and exercise. You don't need medication.
>>
>>39643877

I get flashes
>>
Used to get it a lot before I started lifting.
Would usually happen after jacking off
>>
>>39643387
I don't get that but when I used to jump on trampolines as a child, I would hear a rattling noise in my brain and could feel my brain moving in my skull with each jump.

>>39643387
I get it when im drunk. Then my brain feels numb and pulses. I also have a bump on my neck.
>>
>>39643882
right but if you just want to diet and exercise, there's no point in spending money on a physician to begin with
>>
>>39644411
This would be true if you knew that the problem was curable with diet and exercise. You can't know that until you have tests run.
>>
I get this weird notion like the sound of a big fan.
A woosh-type sound that hits every 2nd heartbeat. I don't know if I rock my head in tact with it, but it does feel like my visual sensation is flickering intact with it.

I also feel my pulse very strong in my stomach-area, like it's tight. And when my pulse is higher like from exersize and so on, I can also feel it in my throat, ear, arms etc.
>>
>>39644415
if you have no money to buy meds, you might as well assume the problem's curable with diet and exercise because otherwise you're fucked

visiting a doc only makes sense if you can afford the treatment he's going to prescribe; if you're broke, there is literally no point in spending your last little bit of cash on a guy that's going to do absolutely nothing for you
>>
>>39643387
For me, it's usually accompanied by a spike of volume in my tinnitus. I assumed it was a sort of microseizure, where my brain activity spikes momentarily.
>>
It's your temporal pulse, that's all. Get some sleep or just not look at a screen and strain your eyes and it'll cure itself. Avoid caffeine and smoking too
>>
>>39644478
So if you have cancer which is treatable in its current stage you should do nothing but eat better and exercise because you don't think you can afford treatment despite plans being available to pay for said treatment.

This makes no sense. You seem anti-medicine/anti-doctor.
>>
>>39643387
medfag here.

please describe the symptoms further, if possible

Guys, these "pulses" are often caused by a stiff neck. We sit on computers all day and our necks get more and more stiff as time flyes by. My mom is a massager and every time she takes care of my neck, these pulses go away for like a month

A stiff upper back can also cause problems with blood circulation, so before you get super worried about getting a seizure or a stroke or anything similar, I advice you to simply book a time or two from a local massager. Only go visit a doctor after that
>>
>>39644565

Not sure how else to describe it. Feels like a heartbeat in my brain. I feel it mostly in the right side of my head.
>>
>>39644548
if you have cancer and no money for treatment, knowing you have cancer will not make you any better; in fact, it'll make you worse off in many ways

"treatable" means nothing if treatment isn't affordable to you
>>
>>39644548
>plans
schlomo pls
>>
>>39643387
Sometimes with a strong hangover I get it
>>
i sometimes get vertigo like feelings when i lie on my back trying to sleep. like the room will spin when i close my eyes and i have to open them to make it stop. if i don't open them it really feels like i'll pass out from dizziness.

also sometimes if i'm really tired i'll hear a super loud bang like a gunshot that sounds like it's right next to my head. or i'll jolt and tense my whole body in shock like i'm about to be hit by a truck or something, or i've been startled.

being sleep deprived really does strange things

Anyone else have a constant headache/pains?
My head has been hurting for so long that I've grown used to it.
I always feel the pressure but I only notice the pain when I focus attention to it.
>>
>>39643387
Yeah I can never focus in school because it is so fucking annoying
>>
>>39645515

I honetly feel the same way. Virtually all the time I feel discomfort and slight pain. I am uncomfortable all the time.

Also, didn't mommy teach her 12yo daughter it's rude to answer a question with a question?
