So today some dude tried to ask me to join his Amway club. He introduced me to the possibilities of 10k+ salaries, annual trips and other stuff. Of course given the negative reputation of mlm marketing I turn him down. But when I got home I thought... I never actually know why mlm marketing has such a bad reputation, I just heard from word of mouth that its a scam/pyramid scheme, etc.
Can anybody share me some personal experience/insight about mlm marketing whether its good/bad/?

MLM is the ultimate anti-robot gig, you have to pressure sale people into buying crap you can buy for like 50% cheaper online, can you imagine being a socially awkward tard knocking on doors forcing people to buy your crap? All while making the guy or women who introduced you into the MLM scheme richer every time you make a sale?

Because it works just like a pyramid scheme. The main money is not made from selling stuff but from recruiting others.

MLM is bad because nobody makes the money from selling to actual customers but instead they make their money by selling it to other sellers. Eventually you run out of interested people and can only lose money.
if you go recruit 5 people and they recruit 5 people then after 14 cycles everyone is selling your product, this is assuming the entire world wants to sell your shit
