The way i picture it, it will be like the early 1900's, you get a job guaranteed pretty much, although it will probably suck , a guaranteed house of some kind, and most of the way society works right now will get thrown out the window, it will be illegal to be a SJW, or to cause any kind of social problems. And, there will be almost no tech cause it all got fried,

The US is largely unprepared for a nuclear war (as in no drills whatsoever being done, no bunkers, etc.) so it's safe to say anyone in a city is all but fucked. Rural depends on where you're located. Maybe NK will get us back into Cold War tier preparation.
