How the fuck is that possible? What are the bounds to be a millennial?
>>
>making more than 4 times the median
Fucking how can people actually make this little?
>>
>>39546784
>Boomers fucked the economy
>Millenials fucked the the value of a degree
>Now millenials are forced to work at shitty minimum wage jobs the rest of their lives
>>
somehow not surprised, many millenials live with their parents and barely work. my income was $0 last year (taxable anyway) because I'm a full-time student.

>>39546774
I think like 1985-1995 maybe? I'm 1990.
>>
>>39546733
Why the fuck is DC so high?
>>
>>39546774
>What are the bounds to be a millennial?
1980-2000 at the very latest, also boomers wont fucking retire
>>
>>39546838
no millenial who lives there is from there, it's all government sector or lobbying groups hiring young people and paying them lots of money.
>>
>>39546908
What do I have to study and do to get into lobbying
>>
>>39546958
probably more about who you know rather than any one field. but economics, poli sci, that kind of thing is a start I'd guess.
>>
>>39546733
$30000 annual is less than $15/hour. But does this count Chads and Stacies partying it up while mommy and daddy pays for their tuition?
>>
>>39546733
>not just saving up like 8 grand of starcucks money and going to trade school
>make 60k a year basically guaranteed with benefits because danger

>just you, your work, and your wealth

This fucking sucks.

The boomers were raised by the greatest generation, who beat their ass and told them to get their shit together.

Then they settle down, pop us and generation X out, and decide to collectively NOT take after their parents

We're a generation of a bunch of pussies. On top of that, boomers are actually retarded, and are actively ruining this generation's ability to succeed.

I swear to God the U.S.A. is gonna collapse. And literally no one can point a finger at us because it's NOT OUR FAULT.

Millenials actually end on 3/11/1993 between 4:20 and 4:28 and begins the Cyber Initiative commonly named the IRL Cyber Initiative and it's sole purpose is to format the digital dimension after a series of small but collective corruptions in the mainframe. Our greatest failure is in roboticising widespread data corruption before we could come up with a solution to it's consequential "cold-plague" and we wait for the innovation of Generation Z, patiently.

whats the most comfy state to live in the usa?
when the time is right I was thinking about purchasing a lake house and living the rest of my life reading books by the lake.

Wyoming. Retiree monetary benefits are sky high and crime rates are super low. Also worth noting is that Romania is a good combination of cheap, safe, and fast internet speeds.

Not even min wage job. Just applied for a job that required a bachelors in a STEM field and then they told me the best they could do is $14 an hour.
>>
>>39546733
Millennials are 18-34, so it sounds about right older ones being on the higher end, the younger ones on the lower end

I heard this, there is a romanian dude where I work and he says he wants to buy an acre of land and build a house and become a farmer for living since land there is dirt cheap.

Hospitals are gonna be overcrowded with boomers due to lack of hospital infrastructure and a lot will die off due to poor life choices too. You reap what you sow.

I like Indiana in the right spot, but it's one of the few states a white guy is as likely to rob you as a black guy because of drug money.

jokes on you idiots

>>
>>39546733
Prove to me this is actually accurate
>>
>>39546733
How?

I make 18 000 part time as a casheer.
>>
>>39549042
I also love how smug tradies never mention mid-career salary. Like, sure, starting on $60k would be nice. But 20 years later, when they're barely pushing $80k and the STEM majors are all earning 6 figures, they won't be laughing.
>>
>>39549153
the study implies that the median millennial is working unskilled service
>>
>get a finance degree
>making $65k first year out of studying doing data entry for the biggest bank in my state

and you people say degrees are worthless
>>
>>39549153
this must factor in people who work part-time and those who spent part of the year unemployed. If you only took 23-27 yo millenials the median would probably be considerably higher.
>>
>>39549335
I bet your official title is finance analyst. And do more than just "data entry"
>>
>>39546733
How do you make that little? For my summer job, I was making $1973/month + bonus. Extrapolate that to a year and not the four month contract and you get $23,674/year without bonus and $24,620/year with. My current part time job during the school year is $16/hr for part time (9-12 hour) work. At part time I'd make about $7,000/year, but if I did this full time it'd be $30,720/year.

This is not a difficult job. It's drone work in a lab. How the fuck does someone work full time and make $19,000? I'm not shitting on those people, I'm genuinely confused. If these people aren't working full time, okay, that makes sense, but if these people are working full time (40hrs a week for 80% of the year) , they'd have to be working for about 12 dollars an hour. How? Literally fucking how does this happen to someone? Especially in a generation with such insane education inflation? This genuinely sickens me. People should not be stuck at 19,000 a year if they're working like adults.
>>
>>39548650
My research initially said Georgia (the country) for best combination of safety and low-cost living, but I guessed that speedy Internet was pretty important for everyone here.
>>
>>39549521
>they'd have to be working for about 12 dollars an hour. How? Literally fucking how does this happen to someone? Especially in a generation with such insane education inflation?
You answered your own question. There is an education inflation. Too many people going to university and not enough jobs. Thus people with degrees get stuck working minimum wage which is worse than 12 dollars an hour.
>>
i'm 28 and make a comfy 50k but will likely never make more than that with my career (pharmacy tech)
>>

>live in Idaho

Why can't my generation work

Sociopathy
(but only in a most original way, of course)
>>
>>39547129
Trades are the way to go unless you truly know what you want and where you want to be. Getting some random degree and hoping you fall ass backwards into a career is suicide.
Im at $70k+/yr with a good $300-$800 on a saturday doing my own stuff, just because the average cube dweller doesnt know how to swing a hammer or they think its beneath them.

Even entry-level retail jobs here require years of experience.

>>39550278
Well, $22,000/yr. can probably give you all of your basic needs in Idaho, but not so much here in the Northeast. I make about as much as you and still have to live at home.
