Over the years, as I ascended into wizardry, I had many reasons. If you look up at the night sky, you will find the number, even if you may not see them because of the light pollution in our modern age.
I thought so many things. So many. My conclusions?
>human connection - because I don't touch anyone ever and sex seems like the only way to get touched and have it not be weird
>the prize - I want to feel like I'm winning at this game somehow. I think that feeling alone forced me to do things I regret(talking to women I didn't like in hopes of a relationship). Ties into competition with other men. It's disparaging seeing that it is so easy for some people. If it were just looks, or just money, it might be easier but I hear and see people of all sorts with people of all sorts and wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Everytime I think about these things, I immediatedly realize the responsibility and difficulty involved in building relationships, so I give up pretty easily. About all the socializing I do, I do on here, and the little close relationships I still have with my only family, my dad, still worry me. Even though it's a completely stable relationship, I find myself coming up with things to worry about anyways.
