Tell me stories about times you had comfy online communities that you were a part of back in the day
>2008ish
>fringe friends with the computer nerds in high school
>one they they make their own 4chan
>we named it infinitychan
>mostly we would just shitpost anonymously and try to guess who posted what
>it was pretty comfy
>one day we got an influx of 100 new users
>they were using 4chan and got sick of the cancer killing /b/
>they found us on a list of *chans
>ours was decided to be the least cancerous
>we hook them up with their own board
>it was an awesome summer

There's something amazing about being a part of a comfy community of weirdos. Like no one is perfect but you like them all anyway because together they form a supportive environment that you didn't even realize you needed
Well our own little comfy discord is looking to add some new people and if you made it this far and you're interested in a community like this, let me know and I'll consider dropping the invite link
>be me
>trying to figure out if you guys have just never been in an online community
>or if greentext went out of vogue four years ago and never came back

I used to argue politics on Newgrounds when I was like 16/17, we even had our own spin-off BBS, and then got banned by Wade Fulp because I called him a faggot or something

Sounds like you flew a little close to the sun there, icarus
>16 years old
>competitive dod 1.6 was still a thing
>spent the entire summer with the greatest group of personalities you can ask for

Summer is kinda the best for online communities
I remember playing Minecraft on a very obscure server with a really tight community. I helped some people build mansions and eventually buildt a resort for new players to rent houses at. Very nice indeed.

Im interested dude hmu
HOST was pretty great and I had a huge fucking greentext prepared but the fucking robot hates me. Just go to Newgrounds and search for it under mulitplayer games, the comment section has a few reviews from vets.
