ITT:Big teacher meltdowns

I came to school late so I went to the office to get a note. Then I went to my class. I walk into the Room. Teacher looks at me and screams "You will die in a firing squad Anon"
I decided to go to the principal. By the time the principal got there the teacher with screaming her head off.
The principal Couldn't calm her down So he called the police

I had to go to "Religious Education" as a kid.I went from probably 1st grade all the way through high school. You see, the parents who enrolled their kids in public school, but still wanted their kids to have a dose of religion, and probably couldn't afford private school, sent their kids to an hour long class from 7-8pm every Wednesday. From 7th grade on it was pretty chill, but the elementary years were needlessly brutal. We had homework, class assignments, and tests. It didn't take long for us kids to realize that even though it was graded work, none of it mattered. You can't flunk Religious Ed; our parents already paid the fee. So I think it was in fifth grade, that us kids finally realized this, and we simply stopped giving a fuck. I don't think we were particularly rude toward the teacher (who I think was just a volunteer), we just didn't do what she said. So she cried in front of us in class, and just left. So then the head leader of the school came in a scolded us, and I guess we felt a little guilty.

I guess the real takeaway from this story was how bizarre the early years of Religious Ed was. Not even trying to tip any fedoras here; I'm still a staunch Catholic. It was just a weird time.

Not really a teacher meltdown, but when I was a freshman in high school we had this substitute bus driver one day. Our bus was pretty rowdy, and apparently the dude couldn't handle it.

Right before the first stop on the way home, he started throwing a shit fit, pulled an illegal u-turn, and started driving in the opposite direction without saying a word. He just kept driving and driving on an unfamiliar route, and eventually got on the interstate. There were people in tears thinking we were being kidnapped or held hostage, pleading with him to tell us where he was going, but he refused to say a word.

Eventually we made it back to the school, where he got up out of the drivers seat and yelled at us until he was hoarse. The principal got on the bus and pulled the guy off, and another substitute driver eventually got us all home.

Apparently parents were freaking out (rightfully so) after getting calls from terrified kids. The school district had to send a letter to every parent on the route apologizing and informing us the guy had been fired.
>>
>>39525152
Holy fuck. I assume this wsan't that long ago since the kids had cell phones and could call home? Was there anything in particular that you think caused the driver to crack?
>>
>>39525216

It was 2003-ish, so there were a few kids who had phones. I assume if it happened today, the cops would have been informed immediately due to the call volume and the bus would have been pulled over.

As for why he cracked, no idea. He was a feeble looking older guy who looked like he was in his late 50s or early 60s. I guess he just couldn't deal with a bunch of kids jumping around and screaming.
>>
At my school the principal started working there when he was 20 years old. His goal in life was to work 50 years and then retire. When my class became seniors he was working there for 41 years. Pretty much everyone in my class ignored the rules. Students were constantly stealing stuff and smashing windows. Nobody ever went to detention. They tried to make one kid stay after for detention and he started smashing the computers in the room.
When we came back from winter break in January we had a new principal. He was jewish guy from new york and he claimed that the fun and games were over. He started telling all of us about how he would arrest anyone who disobeyed him. But once again nobody took him seriously. Two months later in march he told all seniors to go to the auditorium. He came out on stage with the old principal. He got so sick and tired of dealing with us that he begged the old principal to come back for the rest of the year. The old principal accepted.
The old principal told every senior that he didn't want to see any of us in school next year. He said if anyone was failing at the end of the year he would use his administrative privileges to bump their grades up to a passing score. All he asked in return is that we try to not cause as much trouble.
So from march to june most of the seniors did nothing in any of the classes. My gpa at the end if the school year was 37. He raised it to 67. As far as I know nobody was held back.
>>
There was a teacher that left one day. Story was he threw a chair across the room. I'm keen to believe it because, while he was a nice guy when I had him, he had that sort of look like he was just barely containing some explosive rage.
>>
>>39525317
When was this, and where was this?
>>
>>39525428
This was in arkansas during the 2010 school year.
>>
>>39524937
>sent their kids to an hour long class from 7-8pm every Wednesday
I had to do that too, every Wednesday. Got out of it in 4th grade when I started playing baseball and had to go to practice.

>My gpa at the end if the school year was 37. He raised it to 67.
What the fuck does that mean?
>>
>>39525317
That's pretty cucked originally
>>
>>39526173
2010 is way too recent. smashing a bunch of computers is a no brianer for emergency expulsion. Breaking anything is emergency expulsion. The failings of you principal speaks louder toward the failings of your entire district, especially the superintendent.

Also,
>My gpa at the end if the school year was 37. He raised it to 67

That's not how GPA works.The highest is a 4.0
>>
>>39524172
We chanted "Burger Queen" at a substitute until she ran away and cried in the bathroom

To be fair she was fat
>>
>>39526495
Kek. What grade?
>>
>>39526492
I don't know if gpa is the right word. At my school they would take the grades you got in every class and average them together. I took seven different classes. Some classes I had zeros in and some I was passing in. So my average grade was 37 out of 100.

In junior high math class, we were doing those problems with multiple equations in brackets. Some of them were stacked in shapes for some reason. One looks like pic related. I mentioned it looks like the jew star. After that, everyone was referring to it as the jew star problem whenever they needed to ask a question about it to the teacher. After a dozen kids ask him about it, he just blew the fuck up and yelled that "it's not called a jew star, it's the star of david."

One of the funniest memories of my childhood. It was like I was on /pol/ before /pol/ existed.

Professor at community college was a nam vet or something. He would tell his life story for 20 minutes then end the 3 hour class without giving a lecture. The midterm comes around and everyone shits because we dont even know what chapters to read. He says the test is easy and we'll do fine. The test was the hardest fucking thing I've ever seen and I've watched my dick twitch after edging on a 19 hour drive home. The answer choices were scrub tier shit like a) Abraham Lincoln b)Thomas Jefferson c) JJ Watt so we looked like dumbasses getting them wrong. Literally no one got higher than a 47. He comes into class and chews us out calling us lazy and expecting handouts. He flips his desk and tells us to go home and sort ourselves. Doesnt get canned but has to have surgery that put him out for the rest of semester. Replacement taught us shit and passed. Had a high school business teacher that threw a chair walking in because it was football season and he was a coach. Broke the tray thing on the whiteboard

I can't remember why exactly but I did have a substitute teacher start crying once in elementary school. She must have been very young and new to the job.

Had a sub for English in 6th grade. It was AP so everyone (including me) was (and remained so up to senior year.) She kept misspelling things on the board and every time she did. Someone would yell out the correct way to spell it. Apparently she had a meltdown after school (6th period) and we got an earful from our regular teacher.
