no it's only traumatic if you don't capitalize on it. if you are smart you can leverage your beauty for power while you are young so that you have status when you are older and are a gatekeeper that can bestow gifts/privileges on others.

on the other hand, if you are stupid and wind up broke when you hit the wall, then you are fucked. b/c then to actually make money you will have to work hard and contribute something of value, which is the exact opposite of how you spent the previous 30~ years of your life. so the odds of a turnaround are very low, and you become one of those women whose working at a desk job till she's 70. or a crackwhore.

i'm thinking the logic would be ugly guys>ugly girls b/c nobody actually cares about ugly people. therefore, ugly guys, who have more physical strength, can simply abuse and physically intimidate ugly girls to get what they want. with hot girls tho, you have the white knight phenomenon, so society will step in to prevent their exploitation.
