Their is a very simple problem with socialist capitalism.
What capitalism is:
>Capitalism is a system in which work is proportionally rewarded with money
>If you want something you work for it
>This hard work from millions makes a highly productive and innovative economy
>This production and innovation creates a cycle in which theses products and innovations are purchased by the consumer which fuels the system by which employees can be paid for their work (rewarded) which leads to more production and innovation which leads to more income
This system sounds good and it is built on the idea that people always want to acquire more possessions but here's the socialist capitalism problem:
>Most people are not motivated to work for luxury rewards like better cars, houses, etc
>Instead most people work for survival rewards by which I mean food, healthcare, education welfare, pensions etc.
>Before socialist policies since the 50s there was little or no pension, welfare, healthcare, education, food, housing etc unless you worked hard to pay for it
>THIS IS WHAT MOTIVATED THE WORKER TO WORK
>Then in the late 20th century socialist parties in governments decided that the state should cater to survival needs of its citizens if they aren't being met.
>This means that all of the things which previously motivated most workers was now available for free
>Without motivation to work in recent years this caused the economic crash and modern mental health epidemics in the west.
>Since the only thing to gain from working in our system is status and luxury this makes the working class unmotivated because they will not gain these things from the lowskilled jobs available to them.
>This means they have literally no reason to work

So I can blame the government for my lack of friends too?
>Without motivation to work in recent years this caused the economic crash and modern mental health epidemics in the west.
Proofs required.
The UK has had a welfare state since the 50s and gone through numerous busts and booms.

Now that I'm rich I love morons like this
Just imagine as automation makes your labour worthless you're going to have people like OP in your face telling you it's bad if we give you free healthcare

>Capitalism is a system in which work is proportionally rewarded with money
this is not the definition of capitalism. it's not even a feature of capitalism. this sounds more like that socialist labour theory of value bullshit.
There's no such thing as socialist capitalism you moron, they are 100% mutually exclusive. Socialist economies have social ownership over the means of production, whilst in capitalist societies it is private. For example, the USSR was socialist, but venezuala is still capitalist because they still have a market economy.
