same. /sp/ mods went to shit and the site in general back in 2012 but they still do incredibly dumb shit from time to time. They used to ban for no good reason "garbage outside of /b/" when it was actually on topic or relevant but mods and janitors don't even go to the boards they have to moderate. It really hit me when I realized that people were modding that were younger than me and had spent less time than me, none of the new people understand any of the culture here other than sucking dick in irc. People want to be /qa/ rulefags and think anything remotely off topic is bad, but that shit made 4chan into literally le narwhal bacon general with so many shitty topics that bump board culture into obscurity. Eventually made me give up most of 4chan because it's indiscernible from the rest of the internet at most hours of the day. I've gotten banned a couple times recently and only one of them wasn't an all board ban (none of them should have been banned from all boards) but I could have gone with just a warning. Now I've had to edit this post because it thinks my post is spam and I have no idea why but I'm guessing the moderators have some funny rules.

I got banned for avatarfagging once, and then like five years on /lit/ because "Fuck you faggot you've never even read Derrida"
He was right, I was just shitposting.

A few years ago when I namefagged on /vp/ for a certain thread I would occasionally do giveaways for, I was banned for 3 days for "spam" or some shit. Was after months of doing it without any problems, even with mods watching over the threads and banning shitposts swiftly.

Then out of nowhere a second mod tried to ban me after I had already been banned, and decided to hit me with a permaban for "ban evasion". Not sure if it was a mistake or what, but clearly the mods didn't like me. Couldn't post with my name or even my friend code, and when the Mod IRC Logs got leaked, I literally found text of mods saying to keep an eye out for me and to ban me on sight.

Literally did nothing wrong, was pretty mad about this for a while.

Mods need to lose anonymity. Its fucked that a group of people literally hanging out in chat rooms can govern this site however they feel, banning people they don't like without anybody even knowing. It should be made 100% clear who is banning you so that mods can't ban you unless you actually break rules.

I've gotten banned repeatedly for hosting Risk threads on /pol/. It doesn't make sense though, sometimes they stay up forever, other times they're immediately taken down and I get banned. The problem is there's no consistency with mods, some ban people according to how they read and perceive the rules, it fucking pisses me off
