Same situation as you, just search the catalogue for the keyword discord on either a Monday afternoon/evening or almost anytime on the weekend. Keep in mind though the threads are against the rules so they could get deleted before you see them, another good strategy is to check 4chan archive sites and search for "discord" to find the threads that have died that you may have missed.

Also I too hate social interaction but the beauty of doing it online is that you can just drop in and out whenever you feel like it and people won't care too much.

Nah, I've had many internet friends. I just came to realize through the years how much effort you need to put in. Your online friends never seem to put forth effort. I have to start and maintain every conversation or it just goes flat and they remove me

I'm too afraid to try discord. I've always assumed it's just some program for people to exclude me even further. When I see someone posting something related to discord, I just assume they're saying "fuck you freak".

The funny thing is I don't really care about IRL friends or to make ones. On the internet I just don't know how to make friends and I'm always afraid that I will simply bore them with my interests.
In groups it's even harder because everyone already know everyone and I feel out of the loop and then I feel the same as you (remember that I hate it)

I do this. every once in a while I'll get super lonely and scour all over looking for a nice place to make friends. I'll check every board that I know of where people trade contact, I'll do google searches for places to make friends, I'll look all over. I don't ever usually find anything though and just give up and I dont feel as lonely the next day
