Started playing around with blender to learn some basic 3D modelling. Have also been worldbuilding and planning to learn some creative writing soon.

I sometimes draw and make music for my autistic childhood story. The drawings are shit but the music I am at least somewhat proud of. Wish I could get into more legit sound mixing. Cause right now I just finale songwriter and I was considering ableton. also considering making an animatic to my story, basically just a series of stills set to music, maybe with narration or even voice acting. I dunno. Scanning my index card drawings is really slow, Ive been considering a Usb drawing pad.

All sorts of stuff. Some funny, some about history or literature, some about love. I've recently tried myself at iambic pentameter and getting a bit Shakespearean but it's tough.

I'm making a costume right now. Me and a few friends get together 1-2 months before Halloween every year to go all out and make cool costumes. Usually we go to costume contests in town to see if we'll win anything. I've gotten a free meal voucher at some pub one year. Your art looks pretty decent but I'd recommend that you practice drawing the forearm and the calves, and it wouldn't hurt to study better proportions.

I suggest watching Proko's anatomy vids and Sycra's videos on proportions.

you have a pretty good eye for someone who doesn't draw all the time. i bet you could easily pick up an instrument if you dedicate enough time to it. maybe get a cheap keyboard and learn how to read sheet music. or you could watch a bunch of youtube tutorials. there are easy and fun tutorials for everything these days.

I've been working on a game for about a year now, but I've made basically no progress because I'm shit at sprite art. The music, however, is where I've been dedicating most of my time to.

The final goal was to make it a Metroidvania similar to Zero Mission and AM2R, with a large emphasis on speedrunning, but since I can't draw sprites and money is a big issue, I've had to postpone it until I figure something out.

I've started another game in the meantime to be a replacement/competitor to The Culling and PUBG, since The Culling went to shit and PUBG is more than what I'd like in a survival deathmatch. Making it in Amazon Lumberyard and using a student version of Autodesk Maya, any advice?

I write poetry and then try to make short songs out of it. I'm also in a band but I don't write the instrumentals in that because I'm by far the shittiest at guitar and drums, I just sing. I feel like I get more of an emotional release when just fucking around on my keyboard or guitar and singing by myself anyway.

Yeah ive posted about it a lot on r9k and some other chans including wizchan. Imagined it at school but it was a way to cope so I didn't imagine it at home where I had "superior" entertainment. I actually hated the whos creatures when I was younger and had them slaughtered in droves even though they were the good guys. They were basically human but I never imagined what they looked like. Never really pictured what individual louse soldiers looked like until I wa6 much older, either. I only had a few named characters and I never even named the giant fortresses I imagined my schools to be until years later when I started writing things down. I tried a screenplay if it in sixth grade. Wish I could find it. Now I have at least a few dozen characters to pick from and I am much more selective as to what things I imagine as part of the world. I don't imagine it as much as I used to but I also remember more and have more of a plot. I used to just imagine random battles with no direction, it was a huge war over millions of miles so it made sense it wa6 going on everywhere.

I enjoyed building stuff in Second Life, where ones only limit was imagination and ingenuity. This pic was the poster of a dance club I made. Most people congregate in what I'd call "shoeboxes",simple flat floors minimally decorated and little thought put into it. So I attempted a building with as few right angles as possible,and fewer large textures to load so crowds wouldn't be lagged out downloading them. So Stardrome was born:storefronts on the bottom floor,a bar and dancefloor with stripper poles on the second,and a formal ballroom with spacescapes through the windows. It was successful for its time,and a challenge to create. I will post a few interior shots as well.

Damn son, I have the exact fucking same type of autism. Musically-induced daydreaming going more structured with age. I must've created +10GB of detailed statistics, schematics, char sheets, mood-specific and imaginary event-specific playlists, and general infodumping over the last 8 years. Like everybody else I draw. I also read about people who draw. Collect books about people who draw.

It's definitely the best way I've found to spend my time because there's always enough stuff to work and improve on. You can do it almost anywhere with little investment.
