Robots, what is it about nihilism that you hate so much? Is it because of the redditors that cling to shows like rick and Morty and pretend they're really intelligent and understand Nietzsche to seem superior, or is it just the concept of nihilism in general?
I've been depressed since I was about 16, and now, as an adult, I've become a nihilist, not consciously, just because life doesn't seem worth living and it doesn't feel like there's any meaning behind anything I do. Do any of you have a good counter-argument for nihilism as a philosophy?

No counter arguments to nilhism, you can pretend life has purpose/meaning but there really isn't any.
>WUBALUBADUBDUB
>"le le le le intelligent XDDDD"

So it's the former?
>>39452623
>God isn't real?
>More like, le you're a le redditor xD
>Life is meaningless?
>le redditors think they're intelligent but they're actually dumb dumb heads, unlike me xDD
>I don't have a reason why, just stop disagreeing with other people and be le intelligent status quo like me
You've really destroyed the foundations of centuries worth of philosophy with your keen eye, chum.

I had this exact fucking problem when I realized that a lot of philosophy distills down to nihilism. Even the mere act of skepticism is a powerful argument in philosophy, I have friends that hint at epistemological nihilism which is really difficult to counter, how can you prove any knowledge at all is valid?
The answer is existentialism. *Really* read Nietzsche, he wasn't a nihilist, his Ubermnecsh concept was the quintessential existentialist.
The only meaning in life is self pressure. Real or not, you can feel it and enjoy it. If you want to escape that nihilistic hell hole, find something truly fun that causes genuine happiness.

That's a good point, anon. Ubermnesch concept wasn't really nihilistic at all. Have a (you)

You don't even understand nihilism or Nietzsche, Nietzsche wasn't a prominent nihilist.
Nietzsche is widely misrepresented in the general public and mainstream media.
>because life doesn't seem worth living
Again that's not nihilism, besides you have different aspects of nihilism.
It's like the representation of the joker in the dark knight, which is a portray of an opportunistic lying psychopath, who claims to not care the least of fucks, hypocritical and vague
Considering his dedication and actual deliberate planning, nihilism doesn't even mean anything anymore in post-modern times
