>Is playing video games a pathetic hobby for a man
yes

As a hobby, yes. It's pathetic at almost any age as a hobby, even for robots.
As an occasional thing, no, not really.
You're thoroughly spooked if you even consider this question.

Absolutely not.
t. man in his 30s
You should man up, marry a roastie and work overhours to provide for her and her biracial son
>>39404120
No. Now gtfo normie.
Not to be interested in them or play them, but I think anyone who is interested in watching 20 minute videos of fake lore or autistic fan theories about video games is extremely gay, no matter what age you are.

What's considered "occasional" gaming?
>>39404296
For me, like once a month. I don't know about anyone else. Normies might couch game more often, and you might play a vidya like once every two weeks.
I typically spend like 5-10 hours every month playing a vidya. Then again, I'm not 30 yet, and I'm assuming that even three years from now I probably won't be playing vidya at all.

no

depends on how often he does it. if it's just something he does when he has a little down time then nah not really, but if it's ALL he does while having NO other hobbies, then I think most people would say it's pathetic. I think it's pathetic regardless of age, you should have at least 3-4 hobbies you really enjoy regardless of how stupid or manchildish they are.

More like fatasses who upload/watch lengthy discussions speculating what's inside of a Poke Ball; it's so damn autistic.
I told my girlfriend that one of my hobbies is videogames and that I'm the boss of a guild in an online game. She didn't mind, her only "complaint" was that it's not a very deep game.
>>39404120
no, most other hobbies are either even more lame and boring or too expensive unless you are wealthy, if someone judges you for it cut him off your life, you would be better off
I'm a man in his thirties.
Other than work video games is mostly all I've got. Work in a job where I deal with people's trauma every day, hear about their abuse and how they want to kill themselves or what was done to them as a child.
When I'm not doing that I go care for my elderly parents who are deteriorating rapidly. Live in a shitty area and landlord won't allow a pet.
When I have time all I can do to manage feeling terrible is escape into a world where I am the benevolent overlord. I like strategy and sim games, where I can make everyone happy and everything be okay. Unlike real life, where it's not okay.
If that's pathetic, I'm pathetic, but it's how I stay strong for everyone else.
