I tried applying to other entry level jobs like bank teller and janitor, but I'm not qualified for it apparently. "Retail Management" in your work history is even worse than "Unemployed" as far as employers are concerned.

I worked at a dominos that covered one of the most area in the nation, 3 cities and if i sped on a farther out delivery it would be 1hr round trip if the train didnt randomly decide to stop and block the quick way to get there. Oh and if i worked a 12 hr shift (which was common on a busy day because they'd get you to open but never die down enough to send you home until the store closes) I would have to fill up my ford fusion every single day
Most of the employees were stoners, i was good friends with management, and i literally just sat on my ass all day pulling in tips and bringing home free pizza but god DAMN was gas money and driving around shitty ass neighbourhoods where the road could randomly dip any time without any sign or shit, both of the front lights on my car come lose occasionally and rarely my hood pops up because of that shit

There are about 10 other people who work overnights, too, but in different departments. Im stuck in a room by myself, away from the other workers. I really only see them for a few minutes. Enough to say hi, and have a small conversation and go do our work. I'm left alone for 90% of my shift, even on breaks. I usually blast my music and cut veggies or whatever. It's actually pretty chill work, too.

To make the best of it, i met a former coworker last month. I'm not usually a spiteful person, but i felt satisfied with that.

I'm a service mechanic at a truck stop , it's one of the few ways for an inexperienced person to become a diesel mechanic but goddam does it suck sometimes. I work nights so I never get enough trucks in to make decent money and most of my customers are crazy old fucks or Mexicans that get the bare minimum of maintenance on vehicles so poorly maintained that the bolts holding on shit that needs to be replaced every 30k miles crumble to dust when I put a ratchet on them and then they blame me for breaking whatever.

My two chief pleasures in that place were blacklisting shitty customers and shaving the wages of the drivers. On that note: Anyone who is a driver for a pizzas place you should knkow that you're shift manager can reduce the hours you're paid at the end of the week. So don't pull that fucking "taking 30 minutes to deliver shit 2 roads away" wank when you go somewhere and read the fucking paper. Never EVER piss your shift runner off.
