Those are the only things I want to do and it takes the same amount for both but I am eternally NEET.

Sadly for you this is 2017 not 2004, prices in thailand are about 3x - 5x more expensive now. So no, you're not going to thailand for a month on 5k. Your wallet will be empty after the first week.
