What free time? I have band practice on Tuesdays from 5-8pm and Thursdays from 3-6pm and Fridays is when we have football games. I mostly draw or go on the internet on Mondays.

By the end of September I'll have been studying moonrunes for a year now. It's one of the few hobbies I have, and probably the only one that includes learning or "advancing" in some way. It's fun - it feels like something I can really, maybe, one day do.

Otherwise I write fanfiction. I've been doing this for ~8 years now (though, when I found old notebooks from 2nd grade, it turns out the very first creative writing I ever did, by myself, was also fanfiction, I know I'll never be a real author, so it's as close as I'll ever get.

I grew up without the internet though, this was the 90s and some rich kids or parents who worked in IT had it at their place but most of us didn't.

I used to build plastic models, like anime robots that I mostly knew nothing about and tanks and shit. That shit was expensive though. I mostly just read, I'd go to the library and read a book a week if not in a few days.

I also still had an attention span back then and I was able to just lay in bed with the lyrics from a CD or casette tape and listen to an album from start to finish without fast forwarding or skipping a track and reading along and looking at the art that came with it, back when that used to be a thing.

Arcades were also a thing back then. Again shit was expensive and I rarely had money so I would just watch other kids play. I guess it's sort of like what like youtubers and their audience do now.

I am getting into learning how to play the piano again and how to produce music on FL Studio but I wouldn't consider that a hobby that is going to be my career one way or another.

Well I'll tell you some good news: most jobs in film don't give a shit about your credentials, they give a shit about your portfolio. My cousin is actually doing really well now, he's been working in the film industry for a long time (I think the first film he worked on was Evil Dead). It's one of the few industries that actually place emphasis on your talent rather than your credentials. That said, if you're going to work in "The Movies," it's just as much of a meat grinder as the corporate world. Commercial video production is a lot wider than you may think though, so it's not like you'll have to move to LA and get coffee as an unpaid intern while Quentin Tarantino tells you that you should kill yourself.

Start with identifying the job you want. Then, make the type of shit that would get you that job. Keep making it until it stops sucking, then see if anyone is interested in your skills.

There's a book I have called How to Make Films that Don't Suck. I recommend you get it. It's basically my entire undergraduate education for like $30.

That's a jam me and a bassist did over /b/ and vocaroo. I'm playing rhythm and lead guitar and the drums. I really like music theory and have been learning jazz piano pretty heavily recently. Trying to figure out bebop.

I draw as well this is a pastel I did a week or two ago. I like to learn about the history of philosophy and read literature to pretend I'm smart. This past year I've started lifting and so far I can only lift like 30 more on my bench since I started but that's probably pretty good considering how thin I am. I'm 6'4" and 155 pounds so just imagine a tall mop and you're pretty close.

I dabble in guitar, as well as a few other musical instruments, I'm very interested in geography as well. I have some interest in politics, and philosophy.
