I'm freaking out! I recently starting noticing that I'm gaining weight, especially in my stomach. I've been skinny all my life. Now I'm fucking skinnyfat. Is it because I'm 25 and eat a lot of carbs? I thought I had high metabolism.

I feel anxiety over this. What the fuck do I do.

How the fuck is it too late? You have a little bit of fat but its not hard to lose that if you try. Start doing some burpees and your metabolism will increase and you will put on a little bit of muscle and lose the fat. Alternatively just dont eat as much.

No, it's because you havent had any workout since high school and your lazy attitude and shitty diet is finally catching up.

You might drink too much beer and you might eat too much bread.

And you might eat to much of everything.

Late night meals are the worst.

Ease into cardio and ease into eating less. These are gradual changes, you dont eat burgers and pizza one week and start a 6 month strickt salad diet the next week, will never work.

Im going to take your advice on the not eating as much. I think I just eat more than I should because I have hypoglycemia and I always wanna make sure a little bit of food is in me, ESPECIALLY before betime, so I tend to eat closer to sleep.
I have just woken up many times feeling ravenous and couldn't get back to sleep until hours later or not at all due to hunger and shakiness...

yes, it's because you're 25. The bonus of eating and staying thin is over sometime. I'm 29 and the same happened to me, I went from 70kg to over 80kg in a very short time. Just use is as motivation to finally get in shape, because your new metabolism allows you also to gain muscle much faster.

I'm 6'1" and I was sitting at around 140 pounds for many years. Now I'm 23 and at 170 pounds. I hate the small gut that I can't help but notice now and feel disgusting, but it seems like the worst part is that I got to this point without really noticing it until one day I got on a scale for shits and giggles. I'm not sure if I'll start exercising or try to starve myself.

why would it be too late, your body is always changing, it can always be improved but as you age your improvement is countered by your aging, just means you work harder to maintain it.

I recently started working out, about a month ago at 27 years old and I have the same "skinnyfat" but worse. The biggest challenge is adding a routine of working out regularly, a few times a week. I went from zero exercice ever, to gym 3x a week and it's a hell of a difference. My diet is practically the same, but I get hungry way faster and my digestion is insane ( I take 5 min shits every single day now, literally slides out my ass with no effort and barely need to wipe ).

If you're like me and you see pounds adding on slowly, year by year, then you're probably slightly above your calorie intake. Exercice a few times a week will put you at a defiency and you'll gradually go down in weight without the need for crazy diets.
