I agree that the teenage years are really important for the development of a person, but to go as far as to say they are the best? That's grossly overselling them. The VAST majority of normies I know who had normal teenage years fucking hated it and hated highschool. Once you become an adult, you realize that being a teenager mostly sucked regardless of the youthful, naive fun that you had.
