Unless it advertises waterproof-ness, it isn't. Even some modern ThinkPads don't have spill-proof keyboards.

I know the feel, once spilled some beer on my touchpad and onto the keyboard and it didn't work for like a day. I let it dry and through some sort of magic it works fine and has for nearly a year now.

I did that shit too,had to replace my keyboard with 0 technical experience.
