What happened was that people could start to make money directly from youtube. It went from people showing off their creativity to pandering. Plus, the design of the website has to complete shit.

if you didn't watch absolutely cancerous content the two frames would be somewhat equal.
there's decent content out there, but you just REALLY have to fucking look.
