It was a bit of clever chess maneuvering on my bosses part, but I don't care since money isn't my primary motivation.
>>
If you don't care about it, why are you posting about it?
>>
firm handshake and look them in the eyes can accomplish great so many things. truly outstanding
>>
>>39325779
It was some nice news. See, the maneuvering was clever because the government decreed the minimum wage will increase fifty cents, but I don't make minimum wage, I make well above that, but I had been thinking about asking for an increase anyway, so I would stay at the same difference above minimum.

I wasn't going to ask though, because I am always applying for other jobs and could depart any time, but assuming I would have asked, the pre-emptive raise would have stopped me in my tracks. I can't ask for a raise after just getting one.

But since I wasn't going to ask, I am the victor of this game.
>>
>25c raise
congratulations, mcslave
>>
>>39325849
Why were you going to ask for a raise if your motivation isn't about money?
>>
>happy over 25 cents
senpai I've got some bad news for you......................
>>
>>39325774
mazels anon.
>>
>>39325876
well you kind of have to play the game. If the minimum wage goes up, you can't sell yourself for less than you're worth, especially when I already am. I could make much more anywhere else, but I don't need the money.
>>
>>39325897
thats 30 dollars a month mister, nothing to scoff at.
>>
>>39325953
What's wrong with making minimum wage if you motivation isn't money?

>getting probably less than ten dollars more per week
>nine dollars divided by seven is one dollar and twenty cents extra per day
So you literally got a single cookie extra in other words? Literally brownie points?

I really REALLY hope that this shit was ironic OP. I really hope.
>>
>>39325850
this.
my time isn't worth coins
>>
>>39325966
>30 extra per month
Oh okay so I actually OVER estimated with one dollar twenty. It's one o seven extra per day. I guess that still could possibly buy the cheapest browny in the store if they sell it for a dollar flat.
>>
>>39325983
I don't make minimum wage, as I said, I made more.
>>
>>39326037
what kind of brownie costs thirty dollars
>>
>>39326019
>his time is worthless
>>
>>39326038
Yeah, but you're acting like working for minimum wage is a bad thing, even though money isn't your primary motivation.
>>
>>39326066
Yeah, and? What is your point?
>>
>>39326050
This board is so fucking retarded why do I even come here.

PER DAY

>30 dollars extra he said
>per month
>divide by four to get per week
>equals 7.5
>divide by seven to get per day
>equals one point o seven
Now fucking get out retard.
>>
>>39326120
do you work 30 days a month?

He said he earned 30 per month. People tend to calculate how much they get paid by the week. There are approx four in a month so literally divide by four and then by the seven of the week to get the number. Seven times four is twenty-eight for the fact that people have days off and uneven hours so you estimate.
>>
>>39326200
It's paradoxical. I'm not gullible.

by the workweek anon

the workweek

just let that sink in

the workweek is different than the week

the workweek

workweek

the question tells the truth what more is there to solve?

Why I said it's approximate anon.

Learn to read and infer.

>>39326254
There's no way of knowing what happened. In a court of law they prove nothing. They say it's only most likely to have happened in the way they think it did; why they say "guilty or innocent beyond a probably doubt"

It's a waist of time to figure out what happened and law goes by their gut. They only use criminals as an example to scare the rest away from committing crimes to begin with, rather than actually try to stop them all.
>>
>>39326307
probable doubt*

>>39326304

the evidence will tell you want happened. It paints a more glorious picture than any paintbrush, a vision of pure truth. But only if you are smart enough to draw it for yourself.

You gave up after barely a minute. No wonder you are so pathetic, you won't even give yourself a chance to become enlightened.
>>
>>39326307
how many days are there in a workweek

approximately of course

Poor wagie happy with a quarter more an hour.
>>
>>39326384
Traditionally five days you work and get the other two off. That makes for only twenty days in a week, and that goes in oddly into the month so they overlap even if they were that even. By hours, traditionally you work in between 30 and 40 hours per week. But it ends up seeming random for not fitting in the same way every month because of the way the days line up differently and overlapping.
>>
>>39326456
twenty days per month*

But it doesn't work out that way of course because of the overlap.

Typos sure are fun, but this retarded conversation isn't so much.
>>
>>39326486
maybe if you said smarter things it wouldn't be so. now tell me why it was so important to break my 25 cent dollar raise down into daily increments in the first place

why not seconds or millisecends?

Because you buy things by the day when poor.

Unless you're retarded you'd buy them at once.

And grow up about seconds.

You only get one extra brownie per day, is the entire point of the conversation.
>>
>>39326636
