compared to a STEM degree they might be. depends on the lucrative nature of the work you're in, and also the time you do it. In my country at the moment they need lots of doctors, plumbers and electricians. If you're not rich and you can't spare the money, I wouldn't be studying anything that isn't looking to be lucrative.
