Nothing, its like nicotine, it slowly pulls you in. For most normal people you'll do it, respect its strength, and leave it be. Opiates have no hangover, no negative effects on a normal brain, the after effect is like a psychedelic the experience was profound. Now granted heroin would have killed me by now. But i do feel like i missed on acid, ecstacy, mushrooms and the like.. with no benefit to myself.

My dad started doing heroin when he got out of highschool. From what I can gather he was a straight A student. Then he met my mother, she was a complete loser, didn't have 2 brain cells to rub together kinda person. He started doing heroin with her, got himself in thousands of dollars in debt, knocked her up, and spent the next few years living in his mother's basement trying to get his shit together. My point is, heroin can lead you places you might not want to go, and cause you to spend money you might not have, to pursue a high you could probably live without.

Almost all heroin today has fentanyl in it if you are in the US if you have no tolerance to opiates you can easily OD from sniffing a very small line. Most people don't start out with heroin but it will be hard to do only once trust me
