>spend nearly all this year's trust fund money on lottery tickets
>won hundreds of dollars
>lost thousands of dollars
>almost bought BitCoin when it was $780 but chickened out
>opened a RobinHood account and lost over a third of my $600 before pulling out
>applied to over 100 minimum wagecuck jobs and got nothing

FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK I JUST NEED TO WIN THE FUCKING LOTTERY ALREADY, OR AT LEAST $100K SO I CAN CHANGE MY LIFE ENOUGH TO HAVE OTHER OPTIONS THAN BUYING LOTTERY TICKETS. At this point I'd be find just winning the "$8 million" super lotto jackpot, which is conceivable enough to live comfortably on and NEET it up for life.

For now I guess I need to cope with being poor until the end of the year, only leeching off parents for food, not buying anything major, and only buying 3 SuperLotto tickets. I have to buy some kind of lottery ticket every day though, either pick 5 or scratcher, otherwise its to depressing, since lottery is literally my only hope for the future.

Eh, at least I'm not that guy form the Powerball thread who said he go into $50k debt to try to win the Powerball. Only times I even spent over $100 on a draw was for Super Lotto, which has much better odds, and sometimes I matched some sets of 3 and 4 numbers, winning most of my money back.

If nothing better happens, when I turn 30 in a few years and have full control, I can put whats left of the trust fund in an "autism trust" which isn't counted as assets, and get on autismbux.

In Cali I have the Super Lotto, which at low jackpots would be like getting a comfy passive income for 30 years, at 1/44m odds, and the Fantasy 5, which is usually $70k-450k, at 1/500000 odds. The last one is very appealing since it looks like I have a realistic chance of winning. I'm sick of the national lotteries though, and once the Mega Millions is worsened again in October, rarely ever again would I play it.

>do you fantasize about winning before checking your tickets, imagining all the things youd spend the winning on?

Psychologists actually agree that the positive feelings of hope and optimism you get from holding lottery draw tickets from the time of purchase until you check the winning numbers is actually of great benefit, and this is why I say I'll continue to buy 3 tickets a day, Super Lotto on Wednesday and Saturday, and Fantasy 5 most other days.

I fantasize about being able to live in peace and comfort, have unlimited food budget, and afford to travel and drive- all this without "working" like a slave just to exist and get to enjoy them a few hours a day and on weekends. I used to daydream about more luxurious things, but giving up on winning the big lotteries and just playing state games, this is what keeps me going. Also I make lists in my head like the 10 purchases I would make immediately after I won, various small, yet expensive comforts that I held off on since I'd rather spend the money on lottery tickets than get HD headphones and a new bed, for example.

>>39314909
That doesn't work because I have legit autism spectrum disorder, and the market is flooded with all sorts of meme degree holders, downsized white collar workers, legal and illegal immigrants, etc. Though coincidentially I did just apply to a part time job in downtown an hour ago, which would require an hour bus or train ride each way. A part time job could be tolerable around 3 days a week, but I still hold that suicide is better than full time employment. But I disregard such thoughts because its black-and-white thinking.

Please shut the fuck up. If the job requires little to no experience (aka entry level) and high school diploma or higher, someone with s bachelor's degree and tons of experience won't get hired. They're overqualified. If the employer wanted degree holders with years of exp. they would have specified. Do a bit of research on employment.
>>

>>$20 on tickets
That was $26, and 2 years ago
>Dude just become a wineo, the wine would be cheaper and make you happier
>make you happier
Its not about happiness, I expect to be about the same amount of happy after I win the lottery, its about justifying mere existence and making it all worthwhile. Besides if I really want to I can easily elevate my happiness to the point of euphoria with meditation, but happiness doesn't buy money.

>>39315191
Doubtful anyone wants to hire me with several years f unemployment, and being NEET for 3 years since "graduating" community college.

Autism is serious business though. Last time I was employed and before I got diagnosed with autism, every other day we would get some kind of customer complaint that I was being rude, brash or insulting, just because I couldn't make facial expressions at people and use intonation.

Its simply the basis for any further plans. Until it happens, I'm mostly powerless to do much of anything to change my life- except try to win the lottery, and adapt a more stoic zen outlook on life as I pass the time, pretending I'm rich, envisioning it as already happened, destiny, but spending an unsustainable amount of money and no clear options other than "win the lottery or die trying"

Fuck it, gonna buy 5 more super lotto tickets anyway, pray and meditate some more. Losing the Powerball, I have abandoned such lusts for extreme luxury. and am now finally ready to be humbly content with a modest passive income, for which I will be eternally greatful, while at the same time, still needing to do stuff with my life, but at last empowered to do so, to explore and cultivate my many talents, only possible when I am truly free, with both time and money to optimize my human existence.

I am not Elliot. While we may have shared the same strain of autism, and overwhelming passion for winning the lottery, I merely desire a peaceful, humble, resourceful existence, I don't hate anyone, and am ready to cope with lack of intimacy, now and forever if need be.

What an awful idea dude. With any lottery, regardless of the odds, you can buy a ticket a day, from birth, every single day of your life and more than easily not win anything significant. I have no idea what i wasted on that horse shit but the most i ever got back was $5.

I contacted the lottery before and asked about the claiming process. At least in California, you don't have to do an interview or photo-op, and the lottery is only required to release your name and the circumstances of the win. They'll want to post a press release, but you can write a vague public statement without revealing any personal information, like.

>buy more lotto tickets on Thursday
>win jackpot

Its not about money per se, but to get to live freely, and make life worth living. I can't even get a job, and l'd rather suicide than work 40+ hours a week for 30+ years, or even half that. I'm trying to explain this to you: lottery is not a way out. The chance of you winning the lottery is so abysmal as to be nonexistent. You have a much, much higher chance of success just making investments and educating yourself on financial responsibility. Hell, putting that dollar in a shoebox is a more sound use than buying a lotto ticket. Playing the lottery is throwing your money away, it is not a "hope," it is your detriment and you're only making things worse for yourself.

Why am I even preaching to irredeemably stupid goyim? You deserve poverty and misery for being a stubborn dipshit.
>>

Everything you see around you is there due to others' labor. You do not deserve free shit by existing. That is the biggest backward thought in you anti-capitalists' small brains. If people didn't work you'd have nothing to eat and nowhere to travel. Wishing for free food, a free bed, free transportation is so incredibly entitled and disgusting it makes me sick.

The fact is, when you really look at them, each of these communist dingalings wants to live the way a monarch would live - do everything for free, everything is free and they can do what they want and have serfs give them stuff. Communists do NOT care about "the worker." They care about themselves and getting the workers to do shit for them so they can be lazy. People who are used to your rhetoric can see right through your shallow facade.

You have NO idea what life is. You can't appreciate what you have, what you have been given and live with it on your own? Money won't make you happy. As simple as that. You have been jewed into believing the lifestyle of the rich person is the only one worth pursueing and your little lottery scheme is a shortcut to the 'good life'. It isn't.

Don't you think companies that make lottery tickets know their shit when it comes to statistics, probability and math? They account for people like you. You can't win. Betting is also only really profitable if you bet online on some sort of odds that are wrongly calculated by the betting company (which you have to be an expert to identify and only happen so often). With the lottery the odds are always in their favour.

>I can't even get a job, and l'd rather suicide than work 40+ hours a week for 30+ years
You seem to have a problem believing that there are GOOD parts of life. Work is hard yes but do you see how many people go out and do it still? I agree that perhaps the conditions amd salary for the average worker aren't exactly ideal, but it's something we gotta live with.

>If I could just live, eat and travel wherever I want for for free, that would be fine.
All i read was
>I'm a little baby that wants everything handed to him

Sorry! You don't get that and I'm so glad you didn't and you should be too. This way you get to earn things you love on your own merits. Isn't that much better? IT MAKES FOR A MORE INTERESTING AND FULFILLED LIFE, ARE YOU BLIND TO THIS?

Well I'm just one individual trying to cope with existence until I die childless. Given that I'm too dumb/lazy/incompetent to "contribute to society" in any meaningful way, I see lottery winning as a way to acquire the means to live freely, taking what I want and need from civilization, and compensating them with this digital number of fiat currency they attribute exchange value to.

I have indeed though about this before, and modernity would not be possible without the system of capitalist slavery, cause most people would not want, or be able to put in the work required to sustain it. Not at all arguing that life was in any way better in primitive times, but living a simple life where every man could just take what he needs from nature, and any work he does is right there in front of him, and is for the purpose of immediate survival, that is an environment where everyone is more or less equal, and everyone contributes what they can.

Back to being me, an individual, stuck in modernity, the only way I can cope with living in such a shitty reality of money-slavery is to either find a way to have constant money without being a slave, or, less appealingly, a way to exist as a direct parasite off of other people or the government without needing much money, but with far less freedom. I heard of guys who buy an Airstream and have a friend who lets them park it next to their house plugged into the grid and plumbing, while they get EBT and autismbux. Thats one possibility for me which you could say is more realistic an aspiration than winning the lottery. But it requires to co-operation of other people, which I can never guarantee.

As far as what economic system is best- a mix of both capitalism and socialism. Imagine the govt providing everyone with aesthetically pleasing ecologically balanced "commie blocks" and providing basic necessities like food, utilities and use of public transport. But any more than that, they will need to work, and if someone wants to work, the government controls vast amounts of the economy. The benefits of capitalism is that competition encourages innovation and efficiency for the consumer, but the detriment to this is all of the workers who just can't compete. In a mixed capitalism/socialism system, anyone who wants to work can just be assigned work by the govt instead of needing to compete with hundreds of other applicants to flip burgers and win the approval of private business. This wouldn't stifle competition since firms still want to get rich and compete in the market, and it would allow for the greatest of human potential to be unleashed, since undoubtedly, people will be more productive and able to turn their creativity into action once they don't have to worry about where they will sleep or what they will eat- and are incentivised to put themselves out there in the freelancing world and gig economy if they want money for cars, hookers, booze, music, vacations or anything else.

All you know is how to talk a lot of shit OP, I can see how you aren't employed as you're generally useless, and instead of maybe changing yourself you choose to blame society? Cool. Good luck with that.

Also all of this.

yeah you are much more likely to be getting hit by lightening, eaten by a shark or killed in a car accident than winning the jackpot.

>IT MAKES FOR A MORE INTERESTING AND FULFILLED LIFE, ARE YOU BLIND TO THIS?
I understand how people feel this way, but I don't concur with the sentiment since 'interesting' and fulfilled' are incredibly subjective- or you're still concerned with wanting other people to see you in that light. And also because I'm well aware of how incompetent I am to know that being a "self made man" or whatever the fuck you wanna call it is not possible, and all I really want is to just fuck off and do my own thing in life, but also have plenty of money to enjoy high quality of life.

Are you the usual lottery anon?
I remember a week ago you were talking like you're actually quite happy with your life, and winning the lotto would only make you feel more secure about your future.

Proof: OP

If you knew how probably works you wouldn't play the lottery you fucking retard.
>>
>>39313913
I worked as a promoter for a lottery special offer once and I can tell only the most retarded, uneducated trash people spend their money (probably benefits) on lottery tickets. I still dread the memory of interacting with those "people"
>>
>>39316869
It's most likely electronically controlled. If no one ever won, no one would ever buy tickets.
