As for the original post, guys approach women for sex yes for dating. And when women drop the "boyfriend" card we can react in such a manner (walking away).

Fairly true. I have some weirder hobbies and when I talk to dudes, we share stories and ask questions to get a better understanding of what we do. When I talk about the same things with girls, they call it a waste of time or that they don't like it without even asking more about it. I have been brutally friendzoned twice in my life. In neither of those cases was I merely tolerating the girl because she was attached to a vagina. I genuinely liked talking to them and being around them and felt connected to them - like we "clicked". Unfortunately, they were also hot. And that is a fatal combination.
