Nirvana unironically they're really really heavy and manic if you feel like looking at Fecal Matter or their Bleach era or B-Sides material Kurt was a really interesting guy I really like Chris Novoselic though I thought it was interesting he got into politics he's a really intelligent guy and you can see it in a lot of his interview. Kurt was a fun performer he got punk rock pretty well too I've always thought it was cool they didn't care what the normies thought.

This, I'm surprised by how few people have actually heard of them (outside of the meme) considering how influential they were.

My fav of theirs, it reminds me of The Catcher in the Rye

and what exactly is wrong with primus, you PC pussy?
>>
Fun Boy Three. Terry Hall had manic depression and even wrote a song about getting molested as a kid.
Also Andy Partridge of XTC. He stopped performing any live shows after he quit Valium and had nervous breakdowns.
>>
No band is the most robot band. A band is composed of several people, friends, who can talk and help each other. Robots do not have that luxury.

Non-pleb here to serve as a pedestrian litmus-test.

>>>39305618
Absolutely not, doesn't even make sense in premise.

Represents punk music, a genre for cool rebels in the most surface-level and uninteresting way possible.

>>39305678
Frank Zappa was a deviant, but one that celebrated his weirdness and had absolutely no qualms expressing it.

>>39305730
Sad, introspective deviants they were but ones that were celebrated by many and didn't really challenge anything. Basically akin to saying Ed Sheeran is a robot.

>Tie between MF DOOM and Aesop Rock.
Represents hip hop, a masculine genre and serves as poster-childs for the fact that you can be like this with some kind of depth. Definitely not robot music.

>Radiohead, hands down
Correct, but in the most entry-level and inoffensive way possible. Some would question if they even transcend into being normie music.

>Pink Floyd
Correct.

Respresents prog rock in all its glam and glory being given the angle of being intelligent, introspective and humbling. If it's enjoyed by Chads it's for all the wrong reasons.

>>>39306308
Correct. A giant middle finger to any and all kind of normie pretension disguised as the most laughable charicature of everything that makes this generation wince.

>>39306410
Pretentious reddit horse-ass for pseudo-adults that have challenging issues because they're insufferable children with their head up their ass.

If the people that enjoy this music are "robots" is because they routinely fuck up things in their life for their own nefarious purposes.

>>39306785
Absolutely not. See The Ramones. Only they're also enjoyed by every tumblr art-hoe lite and their mother.
>>
>>39306308
This. What was your favorite albums?

Ayreon. Normies generally don't enjoy concept albums or sci-fi that isn't generic Star Wars or Dr. Who. The lore is also too confusing for them.

This is a good one. Layne was a neet heroin addict and we was dead for fucking weeks before anybody found his body.

I think Slowdive would probably be a good robot band too since they made some pretty great ambient music.
>>
A lot of outlaw country fits pretty well.
>>
>>39310925
Ayy
Music aside, Layne spent the last ~4 years of his life as a reclusive NEET who spent all day doing drugs and playing vidya before overdosing and dying, and wasn't even discovered dead until 2 weeks later
>>
>>39312083
>playing vidya

I wonder what games Layne played.
>>
>>39306701
Kurt Cobain was a hipster faggot who whined about women's rights all the time and him being a beta pussy got his ass killed.

Most certainly NOT a robot.
