I've been thinking, scrounging up my past and reading things and I'm starting to lean towards possible emotional neglect that lead to my schizoid nature. Add to that never being challenged or given responsibility as a child, excelling at the only thing put in front of me, school, with minimal effort and it's no wonder I've grown up to a half-assing asocial sack of shit.

I can definitely relate to that. I've been sheltered by my parents and grandparents. They always feared for the worst and never let me make mistakes and learn from it. I slowly became the top student in my class (that was the only thing i was good at) and abandoned social development as soon as i was introduced to computer video games.
