Yeah that's me too. I'm at least aware of it not to go babbling in public, but supposedly that's tulpamancy. I didn't even know what it was called when that phenomenon happened. More or less made a tulpa of who I would have been by mentally-raising him to have absolutely no obstacles. We switch but he knows the rules so no matter how drunk on rage he gets, he never actually hurts anyone or acts out in the public eye.
I'll take being merely physically alone instead of being absolutely alone any day though.
