Anybody else realizing that they peaked in high school?
I unironically peaked in junior high.
Best grades, literally top of my class, great group of friends, fully intellectually engaged. And then everything went to shit in high school, got a little bit better by the end, and then went to turbo-shit in college.
Yeah
It's not a good feeling, especially when that peak wasn't very high to begin with.
>tfw 16 year old me asked a girl out and we dated for 4 years and lost virginity to each other
>tfw 28 year old me can't even look at a qt without internally panicking and automatically searching for the nearest avoidance route
I peaked when I was around 18/19 in 2005. Ever since then everything has been a slow downhill descent.
Yes. It was an extremely low peak though.
I remember when one of the top Stacy cheerleaders said in class that "high school is the best time of our lives" and I before I could stop myself, I blurted out, "Well, good thing I have that gun at home so I can kill myself later today then."
That one ended badly.
>played football
>had cheerleader gf
>perfect grades
>tons of friends
>now 5 years into undergrad barely scraping by
>talk to noone, go to class and go home get on 4chan
highschool was my downfall
I don't know if I've ever really "peaked". High school certainly wasn't that time.
