How the fuck do you start conversations
>>39264582

Read the situation if you're autism allows. If it's a good environment a simple "hey what's up" will suffice. If it's not a good environment, and it's stiff and the vibe is not inviting keep that mouth shut. You can follow up with a light question, and a joke response.
>The key to all of this is being able to get brutally shut down and be unscathed

If someone talks to me I can kinda keep a conversation going. I cannot start conversations, everything I think of saying sounds stupid.
>>39264614
You're probably right
>>39264582
all I can talk aobut is anime and the jews

Hmm.
It sounds like you are trying and you wqnt to change.
I can help you.
If you want help.
This will take 90 days.
You will have occasional assignments.
We will have to communicate a lot.
If you can put in the work and step outside your comfort zone, it is possible.

Same.
Let's be friends in an original way.

I think you are shitposting because of the reddit spacing but if you are serious I would like to get better at initiating conversations yes.

I know I could probably figure out how to start conversations, but I'm too scared to even try.
>>39264582
Simple. I use my perfect introductory line, which works for making friends every time:
>"Hey I'm anon, wanna be friends?"
>>39267137
>"No, not really"
What then?
>>39264582
Just say hello.
The real trick is getting them to last over 1 second. I haven't made progress on that one yet.
>>39265352
>start off normal conversation about videogames
>somehow I branch off to how much I hate commies and jews
>>39264582
if youre awkward heres the play anon:
>grow longish hair (like bowlcut play up the awkward)
>lean into it; start conversations like uhh hey haha like how are you haha
>you are now in a conversation and their pity will get you in on the ground floor maybe 1/100 times. thats enough to find a friend group pretty quick

This is my real problem. Conversations never last more than a few seconds.
