This is the biggest myth. All it takes is practice to be "good" at math, which you dont have enough of since you're a dropout. Actual math isn't just arithmetic, there's calculators for that, and just like English it can be learned easily with reading and practice. But you actually have to put in the work, which is really what you're afraid of.

Not op but I wanted to tell that you are incorrect.
Some peoples brains simply work differently than others. You cannot teach everyone via repetition of something.
From 3rd grade to 12th grade of schooling I was in resource math classes, I studied mathmatics more than any subject, had tutors all times of the year including the summer breaks, stayed after classes and school to ask teachers how to grasp certain ideas. And never got passed basic algebra. Due to not doing well in mathmatics I got very low scores on ACT 17-18 because science and math are both math, but everything else I was slightly above average or above. Due to this I was unable to get into any school other than community college. And failed math in community college and was not able to pay for another math class.
The math class I failed was not even a credit, I had to pass after the one I failed which was not a credit either to finally get the one math class that would give me credit. Some people will just not be able to do it unless they have tons and tons of money.

Just do a trade or figure out another way to survive. The US educational system is trash compared to many European countries.

You can't teach a blind man to see, you can't get a deaf man to hear, you can't get a kid with down syndrome to increase their IQ by 50.
Some people are not as good as others simple as that.
