Someone who I have known since middle school and told me that, while she loves me as a friend, there are quite a few people (myself included) she could never love romantically.
Hell, she's probably right. I'm aware that I've never been good at being romantic but it just fucking HURTS. She's the only person I have ever been truly comfortable talking to.
