usually i just show them this picture (not me no ban pls) from my barber's yelp pictures
looks better after a week or two when it grows out but otherwise i have no idea what to say

Barbers are trash, at least where I am. They're all used to skinhead chavs so they don't know how to cut hair outside of roughly buzzing everything.

Last time I went I specifically asked her to shave the back of my head so that the hair fades out, she just totally ignored this request. Also asked what I wanted to do with my sideburns, told her to shave them. Stupid cunt thought I said "save them".

I hate getting my haircut because of shit like this. It's their job to cut hair, why the fuck are they so incapable of doing it in a way that looks good, are they blind and not able to tell when it clearly looks like shite.

You can avoid all of that very easily:
