I love being in the city right after snowfall.
Only problem is public transit always gets shut down and if you don't live in that city you're basically stranded there for the night.

You can blame all the autists who screeched about bringing it back and how it'd make r9k great again and we'd have a never ending stream of fascinating greentexts like the good old days.
Now it's quite clear that it didn't improve jack shit and they were just being nostalgia driven idiots. There's a reason moot removed it in the first place and it's because it was rubbish
You're at the beach and

i really enjoy the peacefulness of Japanese suburbia after dark, it's hard to find pics which show the city and the quiet suburbia at the same time.

Going to take a guess and assume you can't own any type of yard in Japan.
Such a big contrast where in America your average home owner can own a damn 2 houses worth of land.
Google maps finds some amazing things btw.
I highly recommend trying it.

i think like every other country they look up to america and enjoy our pop culture, military occupancy was also a thing in Japan.
I wish I had a comfy apartment. There's buildings across the street and I'm on the second floor so the blinds have to be closed always, and even if they weren't there's nothing to see outside. The layout is not very good, it's too open. The stairwell is noisy because it's all stone. The floor creaks and I'm always self-conscious of walking around.
My last apartment was pretty comfy, but it was a rental and very small and had a worse location, and practically speaking this one is better. I just don't feel comfortable here.
So many pictures to post but so little time.
Should I post more city? Rural? Temples? Or just go to bed?
