It's all right. Nice voice, lyrics are catchy. Some minor imperfections in the playing but the guitar tone sounds fine.

How do I learn more about making music on my computer?
I have some musical experience because I played brass instruments for 7 years as a kid. But that's it.
I downloaded the first program I found (LMMS) and played around with it and it's fun, but I'm just randomly putting things together at this point. I don't really know what I'm doing.

I'd get FL or Ableton to get started and start learning the basic stuff through tutorials. Mixing, synthesis, sound design, basic effects such as reverb and eq, some theory I guess. /prod/ at /mu/ has some good links in the OP usually but it's dead right now.

Also posting your shit online as soon as you get anything that resembles a song. Feedback is crucial.

Try out all the effects, focus on compression, reverb, EQ and the limiter - you'll use all of them in any mix.

>How structure works, verse chorus, verse chorus bridge verse chorus verse chorus

>How to use volume controls, if all the instruments are blasting it'll be so loud the instruments are indistinguishable from one an other
