Please recommend series with loving couples as the protags. Either they end up together before the series ends, or (preferably) they spend most of the series being in love and supporting each other. I liked His and Her circumstances and Toradora!
A battle couple would be awesome. No harems if possible.
I just want to watch a loving relationship and live vicariously through it for a while.

i was really unimpressed with this weak foot porn movie. the animation was nice but the plot and story was meh.
Surprisingly hard to think of anime like that. The overwhelming preference in Japan is for the journey and not the destination. Or if there's a relationship there's something weird about or it's it barely qualifies as a relationship.
The Monogatari series' protagonist gets a girlfriend in the first season (Bakemonogatari), but it's not focused on that too much.

>this weak foot porn movie
the food porn in it was better. also what's wrong with foot porn. u gay or something?

>u gay or something?
why yes i am, you faggot.
I can't watch this stuff.
it truly is a fantasy
Momokuri and Ore Monogatari are two pretty recent examples. Neither are anywhere near as impressive as Karekano but they're nice.
Also Akagami no Shirayuki-hime

The Monogatari arcs about their relationship are really nice though

if you want one of the cutest love stories ever read Prunus Girl.
It's one of the few that doesn't involve all the cliches such as misunderstandings/dating the wrong people

Romance anime usually makes me feel good for a week but immediately makes me feel like shit after I finish watching it and realize how shitty and bleak my life is.
Itazura na kiss
Kind of different, it starts off in high school then it follows the characters through high school then college and their careers after.

I read the manga a very long time ago. I seem to remember it being sweet and tender. I'll look into these.
>>39228306
Never thought I'd be reading about gay romance, but right now I'm feeling pretty open so long as it's cute and loving.
>>39228396
I dig stories that follow characters across the years.
Thanks for the recommendations so far.

Bokura ga Ita. Get ready to rage and hate fucking Yano's guts. This shit is great but it's borderline ntr.
>>39228434
>never thought about reading gay romance
That's what I thought too. But it's very cute and loving without any of the forced drama bullshit. It's very feel good and you're honestly missing out if you don't give it a chance.
>tfw one of manga's greatest love stories is about someone finding out he's in love with a boy

>ntr
Nope. I can't take that right now. It still hurts too much.
